Buy Razor Ray’s NFL FOOTBALL Picks Today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The Colts have looked tremendous in beating teams like the 49ers, the Seahawks and the Broncos while the Texans have lost five straight games and will be going with no-name QB Case Keenum \u2013 a mismatch on paper and maybe on the field too.<\/p>\n The Indianapolis Colts look like the full package don\u2019t they \u2013 passing, rushing and yes, even defensively the Colts look like the real deal! At 5-2 on the season they can go a long way in clinching their division this weekend and after a week of rest, the look poised to do just that.<\/p>\n Andrew Luck has been great this season at quarterback for the Colts, passing for 1,574 yards and 10 touchdowns. He is the leader that absolutely everyone craves. He can throw, he can run the ball and most of all he can lead \u2013 the Texans would love even a small slice of those qualities!<\/p>\n Reggie Wayne is gone for the season leaving impressive TY Hilton and his 27 catches for 412 yards and two scores to become the man. Darrius Heyward-Bey will be asked to step up as well. But make no mistake about it this team is a lot different without Wayne in the fold.<\/p>\n Some production from Trent Richardson would be nice this week! He is averaging three yards per carry since his acquisition \u2013 something I am sure was a focus for the Colts during their bye week.<\/p>\n Defensively Indianapolis ranks eighth in points allowed per game while also ranking 13th in passing yards allowed per game. Unfortunately, their poor run defense, ranking 29th in the league, brings down the total defense to a 20th ranking in the NFL. The Colts have overachieved on defense and have brought this team from a second to a top tier team. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Now for the Texans \u2013 five straight losses has the team questioning where Head Coach Gary Kubiak will be next season. Matt Schaub has been a disaster forcing the team to go with unheralded Case Keenum \u2013 I know! Keenum didn’t play that bad against one of the best defenses in the league in Week 7, the Chiefs but he didn\u2019t win the game either. He has Andr\u00e9 Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins to throw to which may be the reason he looked decent.<\/p>\n The Texans have been dealing with a few injuries as well \u2013 Arian Foster has been nicked up all season long but as long as you have him in the backfield you should have a chance. Foster has been OK this year with 542 yards and a touchdown but a whole lot more will be needed from him going forward.<\/p>\n Defensively, the Texans have the top defense in the league in terms of yards allowed per game and passing yards allowed per contest \u2013 a tad misleading when looking at the overall product. They are 27th in points allowed per game and an unimpressive 28th in rushing yards allowed. The loss of Brian Cushing for the season is huge \u2013 they certainly aren\u2019t the unit most expected when the season started.<\/p>\n A few trends to consider:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 IND are 8-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record. Texans aren’t a bad team at all, ranking in the top half on both Offense and Defense \u2013 surprising when considering their recent free-fall. Turnovers (pick 6\u2019s) have killed them.<\/p>\n The Colts haven’t won in Houston in four years and are facing a desperate Texans team this week which should make for a closer game than most think.<\/p>\n That said the Colts have been winning with a minimal contribution from Trent Richardson. I think he shows up this week and takes the Colts to an even different level.
