The Arizona Cardinals are coming off a 32-20 loss at the San Francisco 49ers as 10 point dogs to now stand at 3-3 straight up and 4-2 against the spread with two out of their 6 games going under the total. The last meeting between these teams resulted in a 58-0 win for Seattle \u2013 something that likely won\u2019t happen Thursday night.<\/p>\n The Seattle Seahawks struggles on the road have been well documented in the past but this year they may have turned a corner. They are 2-1 away from CenturyLink this year with their only loss coming in Indianapolis in a game that they could have won. That said, their two wins have come by a combined eight points \u2013 they are favored by 6 1\/2 Thursday night.<\/p>\n Seattle wasn\u2019t sharp in Week 6 against Tennessee but as all good teams do \u2013 they found a way to win. Marshawn Lynch will likely be the key factor here \u2013 he is third in the NFL in rushing so far with 487 yards and now gets a crack at an Arizona run D that surrendered 149 yards to Frank Gore last week. This unit had been ranked third in the NFL before that game.<\/p>\n Russell Wilson has averaged about 210 yards passing per game this year but is a dual threat that gives opposing defenses fits \u2013 he can beat you with his arm and his legs. The passing game was out of sync in Week 6 and will be looking to rebound on National TV.<\/p>\n The Cardinals offense did OK against a top tier defense last week \u2013 Carson Palmer passed for 298 yards and rookie running back Andre Ellington had seven carries for 56 yards to go along with 36 receiving yards. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n The Seattle defense is a different type of challenge however \u2013 there are absolutely not holes win Seattle\u2019s defense. Arizona committed four turnovers last week \u2013 something that likely won\u2019t change against Seattle\u2019s ball hawking defense.<\/p>\n Defensively Arizona is OK \u2013 they played well against Colin Kaepernick and company. They let Vernon Davis absolutely shred them last week but Seattle has no Vernon Davis-type on the roster.<\/p>\n : <\/p>\n A few trends to consider:<\/p>\n \u2022 Over is 7-2 in SEA last 9 road games. Arizona has won six of the last seven home matchups against the Seahawks but this week they are dealing with a banged up squad – Larry Fitzgerald although he went off last week has some hamstring issues and stud defensive end Calais Campbell was carted off the field and hospitalized last week. Both may play this week but will certainly be less than 100%. This has all the makings of a slug-fest \u2013 I see a low scoring game with the Cardinals keeping it close.
