A blowout is in the making when the Kentucky Wildcats and the Alabama Crimson Tide face off on Saturday in Lexington in a SEC college football battle. <\/p>\n

However, entering this one, the question is not whether they will run over a weaker Wildcats team, the bigger question is \u2014 by how much.<\/p>\n The Tide are early 27 1\/2-point favorites, but have yet to cover the big spreads this season.<\/p>\n Bama beat up on another second-rate opponent last weekedn, but walked away failing to cover the closing number of 54 1\/2 points.<\/p>\n The Crimson Tide walloped Georgia State 45-3 in that outing, and has allowed a total of nine points over its last three games.<\/p>\n That’s going to pose a huge problem for a Wildcat’s offense that must face a defensive unit that is allowing just over 12 points and just under 300 yards per game with four interceptions, three fumble recoveries and six sacks. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Offensively, Alabama is shredding the opposition, averaging 37 points and 405 yards per game.<\/p>\n Led by quarterback A.J. McCaron, who has completed 71 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and just three interceptions, the Wildcats defense will have its hands full on Saturday.<\/p>\n Defensively, Kentucky allows 26 points and 391 yards per game.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Wildcats offense has been averaging 23 points and 388 yards per game, behind a solid effort from quarterback Jalen Whitlow, who has completed 68 percent of his passes with three touchdowns and a single interception.
