Buy Razor Ray’s NCAA FOOTBALL Picks Today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Derek Carr has stormed out the gates and is second in the nation among quarterbacks with\u00a0 361 passing yards per game.<\/p>\n It’s\u00a0 that\u00a0 type of offensive production that has fueled the Bulldogs and landed them a No. 23 ranking\u00a0 after an impressive 4-0 start \u2014 their\u00a0 best start since the 2001 when quarterback\u00a0 David Carr helped win the teams’ first six games\u00a0 of the season.<\/p>\n Now they will look to keep their streak alive when they host Idaho who broke in to the win column for the first time in 2013, as they held off a late Temple rally to record a 26-24 victory their last time out.<\/p>\n The Vandals have struggled on both sides of the ball thus far, but managed to rack up 478 yards versus the Owls\u00a0 thanks to a career day from redshirt freshman quarterback Chad Chalich, who completed 26-of-43 passes for 310 yards including a 64-yard touchdown strike to Richard Montgomery who led the team with 102 yards on five receptions.<\/p>\n Chalich is showing he has come around already, rolling up 1,111 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions. He also has a team-best 202 yards rushing.<\/p>\n Defensively, the Vandals are not so promising, allowing Temple to snatch up 410 yards, including a 51-yard scoring toss late in the game \u2014 something they cannot afford do against a team like Fresno State.
