The Rose Bowl Game is an annual ncaa football bowl game, usually played on January 1 at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California. It’s nickname is “The Grandaddy Of Them All”<\/p>\n
In 2002 and 2006, the Rose Bowl game was also the BCS National Championship Game. In the current BCS alignment, the Rose Bowl will host the designated Big Ten and Pacific-10 conference representatives unless they are involved in the national championship game.<\/p>\n
USC has a defense that has already become the stuff of legend. The Trojans have yielded just 7.8 points per game, and ranks first in total defense, first in pass defense, fifth in rushing defense (allowing 2.6 yards a carry) and has held ten different opponents to ten points or less. \u00a0<\/p>\n
There may be nobody named Reggie Bush on the USC roster, but this team exhibited some incredible balance in running game, with any of three different backs fully capable of shouldering the load.<\/p>\n
Penn State got a minimum of mistakes out of senior quarterback Darryl Clark, who tossed 17 TD passes and was intercepted only four times.\u00a0It will be interesting to see what happens if USC is able to shut down Royster and the Penn State running game, because as much as we appreciate what Clark has done, he hasn\u2019t had more than 20 completions in any game this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
