NFC East tilts are always fascinating and Sunday\u2019s game promises more of the same.<\/p>\n It has been a relatively quiet offseason for the G-Men \u2013 no news is good news for this club it appears. In Week 1 they have the pleasure of playing in one of their favorite buildings in the league \u2013 they are 4-0 SU and ATS in the last 4 years here in Dallas. There are some question marks however on this team the likes we haven\u2019t seen in quite a while \u2013 namely the unproven running game.<\/p>\n But as we have seen in the past, Eli Manning has a knack for getting up for these games and for big NFC East games and he is especially good against Dallas. David Wilson at running back is the only issue with this offense heading into the season and it appears as though it is a small question at this point.<\/p>\n New York\u2019s defense looks healthy for the first time in a while heading into the 2013 season with exception of safety Stevie Brown which could prove to be major. The D-line is intact and ready to roll \u2013 void of injury and void of contract controversy!<\/p>\n The Dallas Cowboys have a ton to prove in 2013 \u2013 we\u2019ve said that before! Tony Romo could be entering a make or break season and the much-maligned defense has a new man in charge \u2013 Monte Kiffin should provide a more conservative, dialed-down approach for his troops which appears to be a breath of fresh air for the players involved. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n That said with new schemes comes an adjustment period and against the G-Men, you don\u2019t want to be learning on the fly! As per usual, the Dallas offense will likely have to be the determining factor Sunday \u2013 the defense won\u2019t affect the outcome in a positive way.<\/p>\n DeMarco Murray is healthy, Dez Bryant looks like he is ready to explode and Tony Romo has the weight of Texas on his shoulders. Dallas enters the season balanced and dangerous offensively – but we\u2019ve played that tune before haven\u2019t we? The offense has all the tools to succeed \u2013 now they just have to get \u2018er done!<\/p>\n A few trends to consider:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Under is 6-2 in NYG last 8 games overall. There are some real telling stats ahead of this game. The Giants are 12-7 SU and 13-5-1 ATS since 2004 in this series against the Cowboys, and that includes going 4-0 SU and ATS in the last 4 years here in Dallas. New York is 8-3-1 ATS since 2002 in Dallas and has scored at least 29 points in six of the last eight meetings at Arlington.<\/p>\n That\u2019s a serious advantage!<\/p>\n The Giants have an incredible ability to get up for these games \u2013 they simply love contributing to Jerry Jones\u2019 ulcer.
