Brad Keselowski raced his way to a second-place finish and +2000 longshot Martin Truex Jr. ended-up third.

The following is a closer look at our favorite, contender, and longshot picks for this Sunday’s race with odds provided by Sportsbook.

The Favorite (odd of less than 10/1)

Last week’s winner, Kyle Busch has not been opened as the top favorite to win again this Sunday but at +800 we like his odds to get it done. The No. 18 car is currently sitting in fifth place in the Sprint Cup standings with 693 points on not only the strength of three past victories but on seven additional top-five finishes and a total of 1,066 laps led this year. Busch adds even more value to these odds with a fourth-place finish in the first race at Michigan this season. He also posted a victory in this race in 2011.

The Contender (odds from 10/1 to 19/1)

It is hard to race as well as Dale Earnhardt Jr. has this season without making your way to victory lane. The No.88 car is in solid position for the upcoming Chase with 670 points that have the team in sixth-place in the standings. It has come close to taking the checkered flag a couple of times this season with five top-five finishes, but the reason we are bullish on his +1000 odds to win this week is Junior’s recent performance at this track. Not counting a disappointing 37th-place finish in the first race here this season due to engine troubles, he won the first race here last season to finally end a five-year winless streak and then followed that up with a fourth-place finish in this race later in the year. [ad-8757089]

The Longshot (odds 20/1 or greater)

The odds to win this race fall off quickly once you get past the first 14 drivers on the list, but if you are looking for value in a longshot then take a look at Joey Logano at +2500. He seemed to be in the mix in a number of races earlier in the season in both a good and bad way and the No. 22 car has made its way into the top five in five races this season. Logano has finished eighth or better in his last three Sprint Cup point races so current form is good. Adding a bit more value is the fact that he finished ninth in the first race at Michigan this year, which was his best effort at this track since taking seventh in this race in 2009.

Odds from Bovada

JIMMIE JOHNSON 5-1
KASEY KAHNE 7-1
KYLE BUSCH 8-1
MATT KENSETH 8-1
DALE EARNHARDT JR 10-1
GREG BIFFLE 10-1
KURT BUSCH 12-1
KEVIN HARVICK 12-1
BRAD KESELOWSKI 12-1
CARL EDWARDS 12-1
MARTIN TRUEX JR 15-1
JEFF GORDON 15-1
CLINT BOWYER 15-1
DENNY HAMLIN 18-1
JOEY LOGANO 25-1
RYAN NEWMAN 30-1
JAMIE McMURRAY 40-1
AUSTIN DILLON 40-1
JUAN MONTOYA 60-1
RICKY STENHOUSE JR 60 -1
MARK MARTIN 75-1
PAUL MENARD 100-1
JEFF BURTON 200-1
ARIC ALMIROLA 200-1
MARCOS AMBROSE 200-1
TREVOR BAYNE 300-1
AJ ALLMENDINGER 300-1
DANICA PATRICK 300-1
BOBBY LABONTE 500-1
FIELD 500-1

*SPRINT Cup Odds provided by Bovada

Michigan Speedway – Pure Michigan 400 Predictions The NASCAR Sprint Cup series wraps-up its two-race season series at Michigan International Speedway this week with the running of the Pure Michigan 400.
