I really don’t like this Interleague all the time stuff that MLB is doing but what can you do.<\/p>\n Both of these clubs are surprises at the top of the N.L. West and I think these guys have a rivalry going of some sort.<\/p>\n If you are a starting pitcher trying to find your footing early in the season the last thing you need is a trip to the Mile High City right now. The Rockies are playing well and mashing teams. Starter Ian Kennedy who has been a big winner the last couple of season got hit hard by L.A. in his last start.<\/p>\n His numbers against Colorado have been solid with him owning a respectable enough ERA at the humidor not to immediately dismiss the Diamondbacks in this one. [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Colorado has to be one of the more pleasant surprises in the Majors right now. Most predicted that they would finish dead last in the N.L. West but right now they are sitting in first place. They have yet to lose a game at home this season (6-0) but you can easily argue that given expectations it is their over .500 record on the road that that is more inspiring.<\/p>\n That is the way the god teams have success.<\/p>\n Another big factor of their success has been better than expected starting pitching. The Rockies hardly have a roster of aces but they are getting quality starts more often than not this season despite the fact they are giving the ball to Jeff Francis every fifth day.<\/p>\n Friday starter Jhoulys Chacin has been the most effective in the group so far and he goes tonight.<\/p>\n He hasn\u2019t gone deep into any start this season but he hasn\u2019t given up more than 2ER in any start either.<\/p>\n Over\/Under: Under<\/strong> Its hard to bet against a home team with a perfect record and an edge on the mound. At -130 the Rockies are pretty good value too.
