This matchup against Michigan State should be a good one.<\/p>\n Freshman shooting guard Rasheed Sulaimon was the scoring star against Creighton. He has been a bit of a yo-yo this season and not really lived up to his advance billing, at least in the scoring column.<\/p>\n They need him to be strong on both the offensive and defensive side of things, defending well and putting pressure on Spartans with three point shooting.<\/p>\n Center Mason Plumlee also needs to play big. MSU is the rare team that has bodies to make him uncomfortable in the paint.<\/p>\n I am down on Duke and don\u2019t like this matchup for them. They are not as athletic or as deep as MSU and I don\u2019t think they are as talented either. It is a small line here so go with the team you think is going to win it.<\/p>\n For me that is not the Dookies. I actually think this could get out of hand is MSU is extra sharp. [ad-6571516]<\/p>\n The Spartans, like the Blue Devils, had an easier time in their second game than the first. I thought that Memphis and their athleticism would play well against MSU but in the end they were outclassed.<\/p>\n The Tigers made bad decisions and the Spartans capitalized. Duke is a much better and sharper team so Michigan State will rely more on outplaying the Blue Devils than outthinking them.<\/p>\n Either way they have an advantage.<\/p>\n Against Memphis guard Gary Harris was on fire in the first half, scoring 16 of his 23 points…but the Spartans pulled away in the second half thanks to the dominance of bigs Adrieane Payne and Derrick Nix.<\/p>\n Between the two of them they had 27 points and 18 rebounds. Against Duke I expect one or both to have another good game. They are getting better and Duke is not known for punishing players in the post defensively even though they do have good length.<\/p>\n Michigan State won and covered easily against Memphis. I think they will do the same against Duke though this time it will be of the upset variety.<\/p>\n I love the Spartans in this matchup and even though I think they will win outright I say play them now while you can get a little extra value.<\/p>\n By game time I expect this to be a pick\u2019em.<\/p>\n Spread Pick: Michigan State +2<\/strong> Michigan St vs Duke March Madness Betting!
