Syracuse lost at home to Georgetown on Saturday, dropping them from the top of the Big East standings. <\/p>\n

Buy Razor Ray’s CBB Picks Today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Now they face a very difficult final couple of weeks as they face off against the two teams they are tied for second with (Marquette and Louisville) as well as against Georgetown again to close the year on the road.<\/p>\n They need to be ready to match a Golden Eagles team that also lost on the weekend and is looking to assert themselves.<\/p>\n The Orange are whole again with the return of forward James Southerland to the lineup but something is off with these guys sometimes. \u00a0There is talent there but the scoring is not consistent, in large part due to the fact that even though guard Michael Carter-Williams is second in the nation in assists, his shooting is awful.<\/p>\n When teams sag off and play zone he is not a very effective offensive player and their other scorers are not efficient.<\/p>\n Even though they lost on Saturday the Orange are still looking pretty good. \u00a0They seem to be working that zone pretty well – under 60ppg allowed – and have a nice collection of talent.<\/p>\n They are only 4-4 ATS on the road this season but as the game is a pick\u2019em what is more important is that 5-3 record in true road games.<\/p>\n These guys are playable Monday night.<\/p>\n After their loss to Villanova – who looks like they will be getting to the tournament after all – Marquette is jammed up with Syracuse and Louisville in second place in the conference. \u00a0The finish to the schedule is not as tough as the Orange\u2019s, they play Syracuse and Notre Dame at home before visiting Rutgers and St. Johns.
