Buy Razor Ray’s CBB Picks Today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n New Mexico has beaten Colorado State once this season already but if they can\u2019t do so again they will be even with them in atop the MWC standings.<\/p>\n This is the kind of game that makes this conference so great this season.<\/p>\n New Mexico might be a surprise leader in the standings but not when you look closely at them. \u00a0This is a stout defensive team giving up just 60ppg with veteran leadership at point guard in Kendall Williams, whose shooting numbers are down this year.<\/p>\n Throw in a legit post threat in Alex Kirk and it is easy to see why they are able to compete every time out there. \u00a0They have depth too with 8 players averaging 15 minutes or more of game action.<\/p>\n I think this one will be a low scoring affair which makes me look very closely at New Mexico. \u00a0The game is probably going to come down to the last possession or two and with both teams shooting foul shots well, and at about the same clip, there is no real advantage there.
