Buy Razor Ray’s Picks Today!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Carolina really surprised by knocking off Atlanta last week.<\/p>\n They dominated the first half then cruised to victory, a result that killed many a bettor I am sure (myself included though I got in a nice halftime wager on ATL). \u00a0This week they travel to San Diego to face a fellow team whose season has lost all meaning.<\/p>\n If they can jump out early again then they could achieve a similar result…QB Cam Newton was brilliant last week and is always the X factor for Carolina.<\/p>\n For three weeks in a row he has had a passer rating of 110 or better and that doesn\u2019t even factor in his ability to change the game with his legs.<\/p>\n Carolina could go on a little run to close the season and make it look more respectable if he keeps it up…The Panthers have won two of their last three games and seem more interested in making the most of the rest of the season than some other teams.<\/p>\n I like them as a live dog in this situation because of Newton\u2019s ability to make big plays and the overall mood surrounding the team.<\/p>\n The Chargers showed some life last week in upsetting the Steelers but was it a change of direction or a last hurrah? \u00a0Based on the coach and the team\u2019s performance of late I fear it was the latter and definitely don\u2019t feel comfortable with them in a favourite role.
