Battle of Fledgling Florida Teams \u2013 Jags Head to Miami in Week 15<\/strong><\/p>\n The plummeting Miami Dolphins host the worst team in the NFL this Sunday when the Jacksonville Jaguars pay visit in a battle for Florida bragging rights. Both teams seem to have some puzzle pieces in place and both teams will be evaluating talent for next season\u2019s roster so there is still plenty to play for. Injuries, ineffectiveness and a simple lack of talent in almost every aspect of the game have made life miserable for all you Jacksonville fans. But a win against Miami on Sunday could erase at least some of the ill-will surrounding this team.<\/p>\n The Jags have a miserable offense especially without Maurice Jones-Drew in the fold. They are a much better team with Chad Henne behind center but that isn\u2019t saying a whole lot! Jacksonville enters Sunday\u2019s contest as the 30th ranked scoring team, the 24th best passing team and the 29th ranked rushing squad in the NFL \u2013 yuk! <\/p>\n And they are going against a Miami defense that has been pretty good this season. Translation \u2013 it is hard to trust the Jags Sunday.<\/p>\n The Jags offense has been bad but the defense has been equally poor! Jacksonville has the 24th ranked pass defense, they are second last in rush defense allowing 145.69 yards per game on the ground and they allow 27.62 points per game \u2013 29th in the NFL.<\/p>\n The Miami Dolphins are certainly improved although their record suggests otherwise. Ryan Tannehill has looked good at times but without a true #1 receiver, the team\u2019s ascension up the ranks has been slow. The Fins own the league\u2019s 23rd ranked passing game and the NFL\u2019s 19th best rushing attack but they, like the Jags have a tough time scoring points \u2013 just 18.46 per game which is 27th in the league. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Where the Dolphins have lived up to expectation is on the defensive side of the ball. Currently, Miami is a respectable 9th against the run and they are 12th in points against in the league averaging 21.23 points against per game. Where they struggle is in pass defense \u2013 25th in the league and allowing 250 yards per game.<\/p>\n Betting Prediction<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 The total has gone OVER in 6 of Jacksonville’s last 8 games on the road Both teams are having a hard time \u2013 no doubt about it. But keep in mind that the Jaguars just allowed the Jets to come into their house and defeat them. Reggie Bush should be the difference in this one \u2013 Jacksonville has had no answers to their oppositions running games all season long. With Bush and Daniel Thomas dominating, this smells like an easy victory for the Fins.
