An interesting inter-conference matchup on Sunday featuring a couple of teams that are very different but having success. \u00a0The Bucs definitely need this one more than the Broncos but it is always tough for a team to win at Mile High, especially one as green as Tampa, who might be winded from last week. <\/p>\n

The Bucs can\u2019t afford a hangover after coming so close to beating the NFC leading Atlanta Falcons last week, \u00a0The loss ended a 4 game winning streak but the team has still won 5 of their last 7 so they have confidence to build from. \u00a0Hitting the road will be a challenge but you should know that Tampa is 5-0 ATS on the road this season (hopefully you made some cash). \u00a0Those 8 points look like a lot to me this Sunday…On offense rookie running back Doug Martin has already topped 1000 yards. \u00a0<\/p>\n
He wasn\u2019t great last week but did reach the end zone twice. \u00a0They just need to be consistent because Josh Freeman is probably not going to win too many shootout against Peyton Manning. \u00a0Especially with the Bucs ranked dead last in the league in passing defense. \u00a0They are going to want to play keep away and I think they can have enough success doing it to be a money play. \u00a0Probably a popular one though so you might not want to wait on the number.[soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n

After Houston there is a small group of teams battling for the title of second best team in the AFC. \u00a0Denver is certainly a part of that conversation and might have the easiest schedule of any of the competitors down the stretch. \u00a0They have won their last 6 so they should be flying at home this weekend after getting tested more than expected last week in KC…The Broncos are missing their leading rusher but with Manning in the pivot and facing a horrible pass defense it might not matter much. \u00a0Manning has already turned DeMaryius Thomas into a 1000 yard receiver, making you wonder what it might have been like if he had a receiver with his physicality in his Indy days. \u00a0Defensively you know ends Von Miller and Elvis Dummervil will make it tough for Bucs QB Josh Freeman to get comfortable…You have to like Denver to win but Tampa has developed a great knack for keeping it close on the road. \u00a0Denver hasn\u2019t covered either of their last two, and biggest, numbers (-7.5 and -10). \u00a0This one sits right in the middle.<\/p>\n
