Florida State<\/strong><\/p>\nThe Seminoles are also on the outside looking in but still have to be considered among teams with one loss who still have a shot at this thing. \u00a0The big opportunity for them is this week against rival Florida as their likely opponent in the ACC Championship game won\u2019t have that much juice – even if they slaughter them. \u00a0<\/p>\n
This squad has to be kicking themselves for losing to NC State but has to be focused this week.<\/p>\n
Since that loss the Seminoles have won 5 in a row but only covered twice during that span. \u00a0They also possess an elite defense but have been able to put up some points too – you probably didn\u2019t know this team was 7th in the nation in scoring (I know I didn\u2019t). \u00a0They are really balanced too with more than 200 yards on the ground and through the air per game. \u00a0<\/p>\n
I am not a big E.J. Manuel guy but he has improved as a senior and is able to move which will be critical against Florida<\/p>\n
Heading into the season this was supposed to be the game that was going to determine just how good a year the Seminoles could have. \u00a0In many ways it still is and the program is looking for some credibility after beating up on a weak ACC this season. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Two great defenses so going with the more polished and experienced offensive team makes sense.<\/p>\n
