Sam Houston State Bearkats (8-2) vs #8 Texas A&M Aggies (8-2) Sam Houston State<\/p>\n \u00a0Their two losses are to Baylor and Central Arkansas – their rival. \u00a0They held Baylor to 48 points, a feat some FBS opponents haven\u2019t been able to match.<\/p>\n In the Southland the Bearkats have been killing opponents. \u00a0They have scored 57 TDs while giving up just 19 featuring a rushing attack that averages close to 300 yards per game. \u00a0Running back Timothy Flanders has already topped 1000 yards this season and he is not your average FCS back having matriculated to Sam Houston State after starting his career at Kansas State. \u00a0Perhaps he can be the one player who can make a big difference in this one.<\/p>\n No line currently listed on this one and there might not be until much closer to game time. \u00a0I am sure the Bearkats are going to be pretty excited about getting to face the team that just knocked off the #1 team in the nation. \u00a0If they play smart they just might be able to keep this respectable for a half against an opponent that might not be giving them that much respect.<\/p>\n Texas A&M<\/p>\n The weird thing about college football is that often the teams that tackle the giants, like A&M did last week in beating Alabama, don\u2019t get the chance to continue up the mountain. \u00a0[soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n With two losses already the Aggies are way out of contention for the Championship and might not even qualify for a BCS bowl game. \u00a0Still their victory against the Crimson Tide will be one of the highlights of a season that has been a little underwhelming.<\/p>\n QB Johnny Manziel is making a push to become the first freshman to win the Heisman trophy. \u00a0He is having a fantastic season but to me this looks like the kind of game that will hurt his campaign not help it. \u00a0I envision an efficient game but it will be hard to top what we have seen recently. \u00a0I also see the Aggies just dominating with their own running game featuring two offensive tackles that are going to be great pros and a nice stable of running backs. \nEven though Sam Houston State is a solid FCS program this should be a blowout. \u00a0We have already seen what Texas A&M can do and now they return home where hopefully the fans support will make sure they don\u2019t do something stupid that kills all their current good feelings. \u00a0If there is a line probably best to stay away though.<\/p>\n
