What a Week 10! The landscape of the NFL may significantly change the next few weeks because of the happenings in Week 10 \u2013 injuries to a host of QBs threaten to derail the plight of many teams near the top. <\/p>\n
As it stands there has been some significant change to the Rankings compared to many of the weeks with a new #1 for the first time in quite a while.<\/p>\n
Enough talk \u2013 let\u2019s get on with Dave B\u2019s Week 11 edition of the Rankings!<\/p>\n
1. TEXANS<\/strong> (2) \u2013 The Texans retake top spot with their gutty win in the slop in Chicago on Sunday night. The Texans had one bad night all season long and continue to be the best all-around team in the league \u2013 stifling defense and a well balanced offense.<\/p>\n 2. FALCONS<\/strong> (1) \u2013 The Falcons finally lost! Still, Matt Ryan threw for 411 yards and the team actually did an OK job against Drew Brees. They had to lose sometime \u2013 unfortunately for them it happened against their division rival Saints.<\/p>\n 3. RAVENS<\/strong> (10) \u2013 Ya, ya \u2013 they throttled a bad team! But 55 points in an NFL game is mighty impressive. The Ravens are 7-2 and many would argue that they have yet to play their best game. With the Steelers looking very vulnerable the Ravens make a huge jump this week.<\/p>\n 4. BEARS<\/strong> (3) \u2013 The Bears played Houston very tough despite losing Jay Cutler. If Cutler plays Monday the Bears will be fine \u2013 if not Jason Campbell will ensure they fall further down the Rankings!<\/p>\n 5. 49ERS<\/strong> (4) \u2013 A tie? You have to be kidding me! The 49ers rode an enormous reffing gaffe and their opposition\u2019s lack of discipline to one of the more shocking results of the weekend. Alex Smith may not play versus the Bears Monday after sustaining a concussion \u2013 a Jason Campbell vs. Colin Kaepernick showdown is looming \u2013 yuk!<\/p>\n 6. PACKERS<\/strong> (5) \u2013 The Packers have won four straight and are looking like contenders once again! The bye week came at a good time \u2013 hopefully for them, the Packers were able to heal!<\/p>\n 7. PATRIOTS<\/strong> (7) \u2013 The defense gave up 337 yards to Ryan Fitzpatrick which is a huge concern. But the Pats are winning games thanks to the offense putting up 30+ points per game.<\/p>\n 8. BRONCOS<\/strong> (8) \u2013 the Broncos have won four straight games and are now miles ahead in the AFC West. Denver is a very balanced team and is worthy of being called a top 3 or four team in the AFC.<\/p>\n 9. STEELERS<\/strong> (9) \u2013 Barely escaped Week 10 with a win but as all good teams do, they put up a \u201cW\u2019 in less-than-ideal circumstances. Big Ben\u2019s health is the key here \u2013 if he misses any time the Steelers will tumble down the Rankings.<\/p>\n 10. SEAHAWKS<\/strong> (11) \u2013 the Hawks are 5-0 at home this year \u2013 totally dominant. Russell Wilson is playing beyond his years, Marshawn Lynch continues to be a beast and the defense is still one of the best in the league. The Seahawks \u2013 Top 10? There is no way I could have predicted this! [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n 11. COLTS<\/strong> (12) \u2013 5-1 since Coach Chuck Pagano\u2019s leukemia announcement and now they have a two-game cushion for the Wild Card. Indy is THE surprise of the season so far \u2013 you just gotta love \u2018em.<\/p>\n 12. BUCCANEERS<\/strong> (14) \u2013 have won four of their last five games and have the best rushing defense in the league. Josh Freeman has really elevated his play and rookie Doug Martin has been off the charts the last three weeks. The Bucs are a scary team to play at the moment.<\/p>\n 13. GIANTS<\/strong> (6) \u2013 I have no explanation!<\/p>\n 14. VIKINGS<\/strong> (17) – Adrian Peterson is the MVP of the league so far to me. 11 months off ACL surgery and he leads the NFL in rushing. They are on their bye this week and return to a very tough schedule. We\u2019ll see what they are made of in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n 15. SAINTS<\/strong> (20) \u2013 have won three of their last four games and have the weak Raiders on the slate next week \u2013 they could be .500! Unreal.
