Boston College<\/strong><\/p>\nIt has been a season to forget for the normally respectable BC program. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Two wins total, with one against Maine, has left little for the faithful to cheer for but still expect a good crowd on Saturday night for their game of the year. \u00a0The Eagles are 2-2 at home this year but this is also a team that just lost by 14 points to Wake Forest. \u00a0<\/p>\n
They are playing out the string for their coach and for a bit of pride at this point.<\/p>\n
The formula of rushing the ball and playing good defense has disappeared for the Eagles. \u00a0They sort of go together as the Eagles have been down so much they have no choice but to throw. \u00a0Boston College gives up 30 points per game and has done a 180 with one of the worst rushing defenses out there – I guess losing your tackling machine linebacker to the NFL really makes a difference. \u00a0<\/p>\n
On the other hand QB Chase Rettig has been putting up the past passing number at BC since Matty Ice.<\/p>\n
If you believe in motivation than you have to take BC in this one…if you believe you shouldn\u2019t bet on bad teams than stay far away as the Eagles certainly fit that description. \u00a0<\/p>\n
I have been burned a couple of times by the Eagles already this season because I just don\u2019t want to believe my own eyes so I will be staying away.<\/p>\n
