Washington<\/strong><\/p>\nSpeaking of losing the magic rookie QB Robert Griffin seems to be definitely coming back to earth…it was just a matter of time I suppose. \u00a0The Redskins have lost their last two games on the road and will be looking to get well with a home date against Carolina even though they have been a better bet as visitors. \u00a0Washington needs this one if they want to have any chance of getting back into the playoff race.<\/p>\n
In the last 4 games Griffin has only topped 200 yards once. \u00a0It is no surprise that the Redskins are just 1-3 in those contests but what is a complete surprise is how well rookie running back Alfred Morris is playing. \u00a0Coming out of Florida Atlantic he is not only the most productive rookie back in the league he is third in rushing yards, almost doubling highly touted Browns rookie Trent Richardson. \u00a0All this is keeping some pressure off Griffin but he has to be better for this team to win.<\/p>\n
The Redskins have their backs against the wall this week. \u00a0They are staring down the bye week followed by 3 in a row against other teams from the NFC East. \u00a0A loss and they are already in spoiler mode. \u00a0I think they will be inspired and be able to beat the Panthers to put some juice back into their season. \u00a0Hopefully we will see a duel between Griffin and Newton.<\/p>\n
