They are minus 11 in turnover ratio this year – at 3-4 their inability to prevent mistakes has cost them dearly so far. Four interceptions and two fumbles last week added to their woes \u2013 without those mistakes the Boys are 4-3 and only 1 1\/2 games behind division leader New York Giants.<\/p>\n Dallas has played well at times this year \u2013 as mentioned the lapses have cost them close games. They enter Sunday\u2019s showdown 3rd in the NFL in passing with an average of nearly 300 yards per game. Interceptions, fumbles and drops have killed momentum and put their defense behind the eight-ball in most of their games thus far.<\/p>\n The running game has been a disappointment so far this year \u2013 28th in the NFL and averaging 86 yards per game. DeMarco Murray looks doubtful to play again this week leaving the bulk of the work up to the chronically unflattering Felix Jones.<\/p>\n The Dallas defense has held their end of the bargain this season \u2013 3rd against the pass allowing 187.71 yards per game and 13th against the run surrendering 104.71 yards per game. Rob Ryan has his defense playing well \u2013 they just need a little help from the offense!<\/p>\n The Atlanta Falcons have been stellar all season \u2013 atop most Power Rankings and looking virtually unstoppable on offense. Led by MVP candidate Matt Ryan, the Falcons enter Sunday\u2019s game with the league\u2019s 8th best passing game and with arguably the best stable of pass catchers in the league \u2013 Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez. They will be a test for Dallas\u2019s 3rd ranked pass defense for sure.<\/p>\n The Falcons own the 24th ranked rushing offense in the league \u2013 surprising when you consider that they trot out Michael Turner and Jaquizz Rodgers every week. As unflattering as their ranking is, the Falcons still possess a formidable run game to complete what is a scary and balanced offense. The Atlanta secondary has only given up 7 passing touchdowns and 1633 passing yards to opponents through seven games, ranking them in the top seven of the NFL in both categories.
