Last week\u2019s win by the Colts over Green Bay might have been the most shocking result of the season – even more so than the Vikings win against San Francisco. \u00a0 <\/p>\n
Indianapolis Colts (2-2) vs New York Jets (2-3)<\/strong> ATS Matchup Stats<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Gambling Insight!<\/a> |\u00a0Buy Ray’s Picks!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n The Colts, even with their new franchise passer, were supposed to be pretty awful this season but at 2-2 they are second in the AFC South. \u00a0They are no threat to the Texans at the top but actually have a run of 5 winnable games in a row including this one.<\/p>\n The Legend of Andrew Luck grows. \u00a0Only 4 games into his NFL career he already has engineered two 4 quarter winning drives.<\/p>\n His overall numbers are not off the charts, and he has just a 77.5 QB rating, but winning is what matters in the NFL.<\/p>\n It is no surprise that he has focused his attention in veteran receiver Reggie Wayne\u2019s direction. \u00a0Wayne is second in receiving yards, defying the age he has put on his legs by continually getting open.<\/p>\n Public perception probably couldn\u2019t be any higher on the Colts (or lower on their opponents) right now which makes this one a risky proposition.<\/p>\n I just don\u2019t like the idea of taking a rookie QB on the road against a defense that can be very unpredictable.<\/p>\n Throw in a little weather and I like it even less.<\/p>\n Where do you turn if you are the New York Jets. After a promising opener against Buffalo little has gone right either offensively or defensively.<\/p>\n Their best player is out for the season and their quarterback inspires little confidence.<\/p>\n I guess the best thing you can point to is that despite these facts they are just a game back of New England in the AFC East race meaning that if things turn around there is a chance at a happy ending.<\/p>\n It seems that as long as Tim Tebow is around (and Mark Sanchez sucks) there is going to be controversy in New York.
