New York is the second highest scoring team in the NFL but will have their hands full against San Francisco\u2019s elite defense.<\/p>\n The problem with the Giants has been on the defensive side of the ball. They are 22nd versus the pass and 16th against the run. Like last year this unit is taking a while to get it going but once they find their stride they will be top tier once again.<\/p>\n Wow, the San Francisco 49ers sure have avenged their only loss of the season! Since their Week 3 game in Minnesota they have outscored their opponents 79-3! Incredible. Last week they had a game that no other team in history has had \u2013 300 yards passing and 300 yards on the ground. It all adds up to San Francisco being a handful on offense!<\/p>\n San Francisco\u2019s defense is as advertised \u2013 stout and an absolute terror for opposing offenses. They are #2 versus the pass and 7th against the run. They allow just 13.60 points per game \u2013 tops in the NFL.<\/p>\n It should be a good battle between this unit and the league\u2019s second best scoring offense!<\/p>\n Betting Prediction<\/strong>:<\/p>\n The Giants are one of the top tier teams in the NFL as are the 49ers. But there are a few factors that have me leaning toward San Francisco in this one.<\/p>\n The Niners are undoubtedly pissed about losing to the Giants in the playoffs last year, the 49ers beat the Giants in San Francisco last year, the 49ers are at home and they own the better defense.<\/p>\n Turnovers will be the difference in this one \u2013 we all know what Eli Manning morphs into when things aren\u2019t going his way.
