Headline: Surprising Seahawks Host Packers on Monday Night<\/strong><\/p>\n The Seattle Seahawks will host their second straight Eastern Conference Heavyweight on Monday night looking for their second straight win. The Packers rebounded nicely in Week 2 after a substandard Week 1 while the Hawks flexed their muscle and rode the 12th man to an impressive win over Dallas in Week 1 after a disappointing Week 1 loss at Arizona. <\/p>\n Green Bay Packers (1-1) vs. Seattle Seahawks (1-1)<\/strong> Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Is it me or do the Packers look like they are stuck in neutral so far this season? The offense hasn\u2019t done much \u2013 it has been the defense that has gotten it done for this team.<\/p>\n On Monday Night the Packers face another daunting task \u2013 the noise and the fanaticism that is CenturyLink Field.<\/p>\n Strangely we are not talking about the Packers offense ahead of this game \u2013 Aaron Rodgers and company were OK in Week 1 but only generated 219 yards and one TD through the air in Week 2.<\/p>\n Cedric Benson has offered a different wrinkle with 81 yards on the ground against the Bears but this offense has yet to find the form that terrorized the league last year.<\/p>\n On Monday Night, the Pack will have some insane noise to contend with along with an uber-solid Seattle defense \u2013 Fantasy owners may actually have to wait one more week before they see this offense click as they did a year ago.<\/p>\n Did anyone pick the Hawks to shellac the Cowboys last week?<\/p>\n Liars!<\/p>\n Seattle\u2019s Special Teams allowed Seattle to jump out to an early lead and to play it conservative the rest of the way last week \u2013 the crowd noise certainly didn\u2019t hurt either!<\/p>\n Marshawn Lynch was also a difference maker last week. He ran the ball 26 times for 122 yards allowing the Hawks to control the clock, move the chains and totally dominate the time of possession. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Not much was asked of rookie QB Russell Wilson but when asked he delivered completing 75% of his passes. In other words, the game unfolded just like a script that Coach Pete Carroll dreamed up during one of his restless sleeps early in the week.<\/p>\n I`ve already mentioned the Special Teams but you can`t talk Seahawks without mentioning the defense. They have been as advertised this season \u2013 many feel they will finish the season as a top 5 unit in the NFL.<\/p>\n Betting Prediction<\/strong>: This game has slug fest written all over it. That said you absolutely have to love the momentum that the Hawks carry into this game.<\/p>\n It is impossible to imagine Russell Wilson standing in the pocket the way Jay Cutler did last week, it is difficult to envision the Hawks not ramming Marshawn Lynch down the Packers throat and it is inconceivable to think that the Seattle crowd won`t disrupt a Green Bay offense that has yet to get on track this year.<\/p>\n It all adds up to a close game \u2013 one in which the Hawks should keep very close at the very least.
