The field of 12 is set for the start of this season\u2019s Sprint Cup Chase which gets underway this Sunday with the running of the Geico 400 at Chicagoland. This is the first of 10 races that will ultimately crown this year\u2019s champion. \u00a0<\/p>\n
NASCAR Sprint Cup Geico 400<\/strong> The green flag for Sunday\u2019s race is set for 1 p.m. (ET) and it will be broadcast nationally ESPN.<\/p>\n Clint Bowyer enhanced his spot in the point standings with a win last Saturday night at Richmond. Jeff Gordon finished second to sneak into the Chase as a wildcard and Mark Martin ended-up third.<\/p>\n The following is a closer look at our favorite, contender, and longshot for this Sunday\u2019s race along with their current odds to win as provided by Sportsbook<\/p>\n Last year\u2019s Sprint Cup Champion, Tony Stewart is looking for lighting to strike twice in his quest for a second-straight title. He started his amazing run last season with a win in this race and has been opened at +800 to win here again on Sunday. The No.14 car has always done well at this track with seven top-five finishes in its last nine races. [ad-8757089]<\/p>\n Stewart also posted victories in 2004 and 2007 and has an overall finishing position at Chicagoland of 8.7. He starts this year\u2019s Chase in third place in the Sprint Cup standings.<\/p>\n Dale Earnhardt Jr. has just one point-race victory this season, but he has remained one of the most consistent drivers in the Sprint Cup series with 10 top-five finishes.
