As usual, my NBA weekend wagering doubleheader is designed to give BetUS NBA sports bettors the maximum opportunity to make a winning wager on two NBA contests.<\/p>\n

Here then, is a brief look at each matchup, followed by my in-depth analysis and NBA Free Picks:<\/p>\n

New Jersey Nets at Philadelphia 76ers<\/h3>\n

Heading into Friday\u2019s NBA action, the Nets had won three of their last four games, while covering the spread for BetUS NBA sports betting backers in an identical three of four.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia has dropped five of six while failing to cover the spread four times for backers.<\/p>\n

Both teams have been allowing more points per game than they score themselves, with New Jersey putting up 101.1 points per contest and Philly averaging juts 94.8 points per game.<\/p>\n

Analysis: With Philadelphia playing at home, they should be small favorites, but I like the Nets to win outright, by somewhere between 4 and 8 points in what will likely be a high-scoring affair that pushes the O\/U over the set total.<\/p>\n

NBA Free Pick: Nets 104 Sixers 98<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Memphis Grizzlies at New Orleans Hornets<\/h3>\n

Heading into Friday\u2019s contests, the Grizzlies had dropped seven straight games while failing to cover the spread in every single matchup.<\/p>\n

Conversely, the Hornets had won five of six while covering the spread for backers in three of their last four.<\/p>\n

The Grizzlies have been giving up about seven more points per game than they average while the Hornets have been outscoring their opponents by four points per game.<\/p>\n

Analysis: Okay NBA sports betting buffs, the point spread for this matchup will likely be in double figures with the Hornets playing at home.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think the outcome of this contest is in doubt at all, but if the Hornets are giving up too many points, bettors may want to look at the Grizzlies to cover.<\/p>\n

I like New Orleans to win this matchup by approximately 11 to 14 points. If the spread isn\u2019t over 13 or 14 points, take the Hornets.<\/p>\n
