We crunched the numbers on all the statistics and betting trends for the pitching matchups on Thursday\u2019s schedule of games and have uncovered a two-team parlay that promises to end your week on a profitable note.<\/p>\n
Game 1- Washington Nationals vs. Milwaukee Brewers<\/strong> Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Washington continues to roll in the NL East and will send Edwin Jackson to the mound in Game 1 of this series. The Brewers are 10-4 in Gallardo\u2019s last 14 starts against the NL East and 6-2 in his last eight starts overall. Stick with Milwaukee to grab the early lead in this series while securing the front-end of this parlay with a win.<\/p>\n Game 2- New York Mets vs. Arizona Diamondbacks<\/strong> Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n New York will look to curtail a complete free-fall from the playoff race with Matt Harvey on the mound this Thursday night. The 23-year old right-hander will be making his Major League debut after spending most of the year pitching in Triple-A Buffalo. The former first-round pick of the Mets in 2010 is 7-5 with a 2.68 ERA this season in 20 starts.<\/p>\n Arizona will counter with Wade Miley as its starter for this game. The left-hander is 11-5 this season with a 3.02 ERA in 16 previous starts. He has not given-up more than one earned run in five of his last eight starts and has gone seven or more innings in six of his last 10 outings.<\/p>\n The Mets are 3-13 in their last 16 games heading into Wednesday\u2019s series finale against Washington. The Diamondbacks are 16-6 in Miley\u2019s last 22 starts and 5-1 in his last six starts at home.
