As Baltimore fades the Yankees have gotten back into the thick of it in the American League East. \u00a0They have won 6 of their last 8 even though they struggled at the beginning of the week with an equally resurgent Angels squad. \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n
New York Yankees (27-23) vs Detroit Tigers (24-27) Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n PITCHING MATCHUP:<\/strong>\u00a0Yankees LH CC Sabathia (6-2, ERA 3.66) vs. Tigers LH Casey Crosby (2012 at Triple-A: 4-2, ERA 4.26).<\/p>\n New York<\/strong><\/p>\n These teams have met for one series already this season – in the Bronx. \u00a0The Yankees took two of three inducing Justin Verlander\u2019s worst outing of the season.<\/p>\n There is almost no value on the Yankees in this one with ace lefty C.C.
