NBA Betting Trends – Rejuvenated Spurs Host Struggling Pistons<\/h2>\n

I told BetUS NBA Sports betting enthusiasts that the Detroit Pistons (10-6 SU, 8-8 ATS, 8-8 O\/U) made a big mistake by trading point guard Chauncey Billups for veteran shooting guard Allen Iverson.
\nNow, just 6-6 since acquiring the enigmatic Iverson, the Pistons will host the San Antonio Spurs (9-7 SU, 8-8 ATS, 6-10 O\/U) as they try to bounce back from a resounding 96-85 home loss to the Portland Trailblazers in the BetUS Sportsbook on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Pistons and first-year head coach Michael Curry may have even bigger problems with Iverson and small forward Tayshaun Prince apparently not happy about being given limited minutes in the loss to Portland.<\/p>\n

Iverson has averaged less than 31 minutes since coming to Detroit, 10 minutes less per game than he\u2019s averaged over his career.<\/p>\n

“I’m sitting more right now than I ever have in my career, and my rhythm isn’t there,” said Iverson. “I’m missing shots that I normally knock down 110 percent of the time, and that’s all on me.”<\/p>\n

Prince, who was benched for the fourth quarter and played less than 23 minutes Sunday wasn\u2019t a happy camper following the game.<\/p>\n

“He just wasn’t playing well,” Curry said of Prince, who had played at least 30 minutes in every other game.<\/p>\n

“I thought I was playing pretty good, if you ask me,” said Prince, who scored 10 points for the second straight game.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know what’s going on. Hopefully, (coaches) could have said something after the game and let us know what was going on. They didn’t do it, so I don’t know.”<\/p>\n

The Pistons will take on a Spurs team that is coming off a convincing 103-84 road loss to Houston on Saturday but is starting to get healthy with starting guards Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker returning from injuries last Monday and Friday respectively.<\/p>\n

All-star forward Tim Duncan has been in a funk recently, averaging just 15.5 points and 9.7 rebounds in the last six games on 42.5 percent shooting from the field.<\/p>\n
