It\u2019s clear that you stay away from San Antonio and Utah whenever they\u2019re on the road, but who do you trust in this crazy NBA season?<\/p>\n

1. Cleveland Cavaliers (14-3 SU, 13-4 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: UP<\/p>\n

If anyone thinks the Summer of 2010 is going to distract LeBron James from guiding his team to an NBA Championship is daft. The line on Cleveland is always favorable because the depth on the team is horrific. But with LeBron putting up definitive NBA numbers, the Cavs are the best bet in the NBA right now. They\u2019ll be more difficult to bet on when they turn Wally Sczerbiak into Michael Redd (or another scoring threat) so get on this bus now before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

2. Denver Nuggets (12-6 SU, 11-6-1 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: EVEN<\/p>\n

Carmelo Anthony has officially entered his soul-searching phase, but with the oddsmakers unsure of how to grade the once-abysmal ATS Nuggets, the lines should lean in your favor for now. If Melo was playing at an All-Star level, this would be a tough team to bet on. While he\u2019s mediocre, and shooting well below .450, jump on this wagon now.<\/p>\n

3. Charlotte Bobcats (6-11 SU, 11-6 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: DOWN<\/p>\n

This is strictly based on matchup. Against teams that have difficulty rebounding, and lack a true point guard, the Bobcats are a favorable team. But when they slam in to a team with a point guard that knows what he\u2019s doing, the Bobcats are in deep trouble. They have the perimeter scoring and rebounding to reward their betting faithful against the spread. But as far as moneyline wagers go, I would stay the hell away.<\/p>\n

4. LA Lakers (14-1 SU, 10-5 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: UP<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re looking for a sweet moneyline bet to parlay or a nice spread matchup, the Lakers are the most balanced team in the NBA right now. \"\"<\/a>With one-loss and Kobe saving his energy for a playoff run, the Lakers look unstoppable. They are leading the league in scoring with 107.8 points per game and are dominating the boards with 47.4 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n

5. Milwaukee Bucks (7-12 SU, 12-6-1 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: PLUMETTING<\/p>\n

The Bucks\u2019 starters are all making cases to get moved at the trade deadline. With Michael Redd and Jefferson immersed in trade rumors, the Bucks have gone off against the NBA betting line and are rewarding anyone savvy enough to lay some dollars on them. The problem is that the oddsmakers are bound to catch up on this. I said this on BetUS Radio last week \u2013 get off this team as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

6. New Jersey Nets (9-7 SU, 10-6 ATS)<\/strong>

Vince Carter\u2019s ongoing audition for the Cleveland Cavaliers continues, and while that happens, a motivated VC is a scary thought. Yes it\u2019s frustrating because he\u2019s such a whiny little girl, but you can\u2019t deny Carter\u2019s scoring ability. With him and Devin Harris running the show in Jersey, good times are ahead for the New Jersey bettors out there.<\/p>\n

7. Portland Trailblazers (12-6 SU, 11-7 ATS)<\/strong>
\nStock: RISING<\/p>\n

Portland\u2019s Brandon Roy is averaging 20-5-4 and Rudy Fernandez has finally turned around in to a viable scoring threat. When Greg Oden decides to pull up his socks, this team looks absolutely dangerous. The harsh lines are reflecting Oden\u2019s inability to get the ball rolling so look for Portland to be a strong bet down the road until the oddsmakers have full faith in Oden\u2019s ability to be consistent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
