The Golden State Warriors are coming off an interesting last couple of games. \u00a0They have played Denver twice, winning by 15 at home and them losing by a whopping 39 points on the road. <\/p>\n
Golden State Warriors (22-34) vs Portland Trailblazers (27-31) Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Golden State<\/strong><\/p>\n This team has a very curious (polite) roster right now so it is hard to know which performance offers the more accurate perception of the team. \u00a0Personally, I think it is the latter. Not much to prove otherwise.<\/p>\n Golden State has played the Trailblazers well this year, winning one and losing two others by a combined 5 points. \u00a0The last time these two squared off guard Charles Jenkins exploded with 27 points filling in for Steph Curry. \u00a0Curry is still on the shelf but Jenkins has struggled lately.<\/p>\n In his last 5 games he has scored more than 8 points just once.<\/p>\n It looks like he is getting exposed out there.<\/p>\n Portland<\/strong><\/p>\n Portland has really struggled in the second half and fallen out of the playoff picture in the Western Conference. \u00a0[soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n There are still enough games to make a final push but they would have to be close to perfect from here on out. \u00a0There are a lot of teams that would have to struggle but none of them are all that great so it is a possibility.<\/p>\n Starting with a win against Golden State is a nice spot.<\/p>\n It must be very frustrating for forward Lamarcus Aldridge these days. \u00a0He has become a model of consistency – 9 straight 20+ point games but all around him are question marks.<\/p>\n I didn\u2019t think the Ray Felton acquisition was a great one but it makes no sense that he is having maybe his worst as a pro. \u00a0One interesting development is the play of forward J.J. Hickson who is enjoying getting out of Sacramento (even though it is pretty this time of year).<\/p>\n
