The Lakers hit the road after losing at home to Memphis Sunday night. \u00a0Los Angeles has been a much weaker team on the road this season and is looking to rebound quickly before the OKC Thunder come visiting to Staples. \u00a0 <\/p>\n
Los Angeles Lakers (30-19) vs Golden State Warriors (20-27) Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Los Angeles<\/strong><\/p>\n The Thunder pounced on L.A. the last time they tangled so this is definitely a look ahead opportunity. \u00a0Especially with Golden State as low as it has been all season.<\/p>\n When you think about the Lakers you immediately think of guard Kobe Bryant. \u00a0Meanwhile center Andrew Bynum is having a spectacular season averaging a double-double while shooting almost 60% and contributing a couple of blocks a game. \u00a0<\/p>\n He scored 30 points last game but scored just 9 when these two teams last met. \u00a0<\/p>\n With the composition of the Warriors roster it is hard to see how he will be moved out of the paint. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Golden State<\/strong><\/p>\n Last week I wrote about how lame the Golden State Warriors lineup was and then it took another hit with guard Nate Robinson, who is no John Stockton at the point, is now on the shelf. \u00a0<\/p>\n Forward David Lee is still chugging along, cranking out performances like his 16 points\/16 rebound effort on Sunday, but the rest of the team is a complete mystery. \u00a0<\/p>\n Nobody really has much of a track record.<\/p>\n Who is Charles Jenkins? \u00a0Answer: \u00a0A husky first year combo guard from Hofstra who just scored a career high 27 points, almost double his previous career high. \u00a0<\/p>\n Jenkins was a big scorer at Hofstra so more games like this could be in the offing. The way this team is composed he is as good an option as any for this team. \u00a0<\/p>\n He has to just get sharper in taking care of the ball. \u00a0He also needs to speed up the tempo, this team got only 4 fast break points against Portland last game.<\/p>\n
