The Boston Celtics are playing very well right now. \u00a0They have won 4 in a row heading into their Tuesday nighter against Houston, even though there are all sorts of trade rumours swirling around the team. \u00a0 <\/p>\n
Celtics vs 76ers Matchup<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0Preview<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Boston<\/strong><\/p>\n It looks like a few days off around the All Star Break might have rejuvenated this squad.<\/p>\n Keep an eye on playing time in their game against the Rockets.<\/p>\n It is the first of a back to back but also coming off a spirited OT win against the Knicks.<\/p>\n Is there any player in the league playing better than Rajon Rondo right now? \u00a0Amidst those trade rumours he just dropped a triple double on the Knicks.<\/p>\n Only his second in the last three games. \u00a0It is amazing how he can dominate a game without being a big time shooter\/scorer, and how he is the perfect compliment to the veterans they have on this team.<\/p>\n I think Boston will be a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs, when every possession is critical. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Philadelphia<\/strong><\/p>\n The All-Star Break did just a \u00a0little to slow the slide of the Philadelphia 76ers. \u00a0They are 2-3 since the break and will host Boston riding a two game losing streak. \u00a0They are by far the younger team and will have the advantage of fresher legs but this team has been snake bit late in games.<\/p>\n They are lacking a true star that makes big plays when you need it most and that is probably why they will also have a quick exit from the playoffs.<\/p>\n Despite their recent struggles Philadelphia is still the #1 defensive team in the league giving up just 87ppg. \u00a0It is because they are so solid defensively that they are in a lot of games ever though their leading scorer is guard Louis Williams.<\/p>\n He is continuing to improve but he is more of a \u201cmicrowave\u201d style scorer than a clutch performer.<\/p>\n This team just doesn\u2019t have the right pieces to advance to the next level but always competes.<\/p>\n
