After some tense moments against the Giants a couple of weeks ago the Packers cruised last week at home against the Raiders. <\/p>\n
Green Bay Packers vs Kansas City Chiefs Green Bay<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0I thought Oakland might pose more of a threat but the only damage they did was to Greg Jennings\u2019 knee as he will be out for a few weeks. \u00a0That should matter little this week as the Packers look to improve to 14-0.<\/p>\n Against Oakland we saw the return of running back Ryan Grant. \u00a0The veteran back ran for 85 yards and a couple of scores and has the whole league saying – what if the Packers develop a running game? \u00a0Any game where they can run the ball effectively can be a disaster for opponents because Aaron Rodgers is so dialed in right now. \u00a0How is this for a stat? \u00a0Last week was the only game all season that Rodgers passer rating wasn\u2019t above 100 – it was just 96.<\/p>\n If this line holds it will be the biggest yet for the Packers this season. \u00a0Last week they cruised over the number increasing their ATS record to 9-4. \u00a0There is little doubt given the opponent that they will win the game but the large number gives me pause. \u00a0It just feels like a little too much on the road at a venue that usually is pretty loud. \u00a0It only takes a wacky last minute play or two for a 21 pointer to become 14.<\/p>\n Kansas City<\/strong><\/p>\n Last week\u2019s loss at the Jets got coach Todd Haley fired. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n \u00a0I think it was a tad unfair. \u00a0This team has been playing without its top running back pretty much all season, has been missing it starting QB for a good chunk and is missing its top player in the secondary. \u00a0Did any really thing they had the depth to overcome those kinds of losses?<\/p>\n With Tyler Palko at the controls the Chiefs are just terrible on offense right now. \u00a0They have only scored 32 points over the last 4 game combined. \u00a0Considering that the Packers average 35ppg it is obvious that they are going to have to figure some things out if they actually want to keep it competitive for more than a quarter. \u00a0It is amazing that Palko can be so ineffective given that he has actually been in the league a while.<\/p>\n Its not much better on defense for KC. \u00a0Last week the Jets and Mark Sanchez were able to do whatever they wanted on offense so you can imagine that Aaron Rodgers is liking his lips. \u00a0Still there might be value on the Chiefs side as they have covered both times they were double digit underdogs this season, including two weeks ago when they hosted Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n ATS Pick: \u00a0Kansas City +15 Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs matchup this Sunday.
