The Weisguy takes over for Matt and offers up these recaps for your NFL viewing pleasure. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Denver 17 &#8211; New York Jets 13<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is what happens when you don\u2019t put teams away, especially if they are led by Tim Tebow.\u00a0 The Promised One leads another late comeback that has the Broncos in the race in the AFC West.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oakland 27 &#8211; Minnesota 21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A couple of late scores by the Vikings make this one look closer than it was.\u00a0 The Raiders has this game put away by halftime, cruising while maintaining their lead in the AFC West.\u00a0 They are looking more and more like the horse to back.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Miami 35 &#8211; Buffalo 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Break up the Dolphins right?\u00a0 Buffalo has lost three in a row after being horribly outplayed again.\u00a0 Two teams heading in opposite directions.\u00a0 Kudos to Miami for refusing to lay down after horrific start.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baltimore 31 &#8211; Cincinnati 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Important win for the Ravens and a tough loss for the Bengals.\u00a0 As a fan I am happy the Bengals hung in there and hope they won\u2019t fall apart from here on out.\u00a0 Ravens back in control of division.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleveland 14 &#8211; Jacksonville 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A stinker of a matchup produced a game that had little to get excited about.\u00a0 The Browns won because they converted their chances while the Jag, led by Blaine Gabbert, could not.\u00a0 Running Chris Ogbannaya was a nice story with more than 100 yards on the ground.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dallas 27 &#8211; Washington 24<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most pundits were saying don\u2019t sleep on the Skins against the rival Cowboys and they were right.\u00a0 Still Dallas came through with a must have win to keep their playoff hopes arrive.\u00a0 Rex Grossman looked pretty good in return to lineup. [soliloquy id=&#8221;82219&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green Bay 35 &#8211; Tampa Bay 26<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t get the battle of the Bays as often as we used to which is too bad based on yesterday\u2019s game.\u00a0 This was a two point battle until the Packers scored late and the Bucs outstatted the Pac by 75 yards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Detroit 49 &#8211; Carolina 35<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was a typical slow start for Detroit who found themselves down 24-7 midway through the 2nd quarter.\u00a0 In the second half they roared back scoring 5 TD with Matt Stafford having a great day despite lingering injuries.\u00a0 Kevin Smith was a revelation in the running game with 140 yards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>San Francisco 23 &#8211; Arizona 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wow the Niners play great.\u00a0 I know it was just Arizona but they help them to 229 total yards and scoreless for 3 and a half quarters.\u00a0 They were in complete control forcing 5 turnovers.\u00a0 Anytime their defense plays like that Alex Smith and the offense don\u2019t have to do much.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seattle 24 &#8211; St. Louis 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Neither team played particularly well which is why it is so surprising that the score was so lopsided.\u00a0 The biggest difference was on the ground where Marshawn Lynch had some success while Steven Jackson did not &#8211; gaining almost half of his scant 42 yards on one play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chicago 31 &#8211; San Diego 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When will I learn.\u00a0 I have been burned by the Chargers all season long so I really shouldn\u2019t be surprised by the results.\u00a0 But still, what is up with Rivers?\u00a0 Sorry Chicago, you played another very solid game especially defensively.\u00a0 Can you keep it up without Cutler?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Atlanta 23 &#8211; Tennessee 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Falcons were up 20 and then held on as Jake Locker rallied the Titans to within 6.\u00a0 Depending on the number you hat Atlanta at you might have been happy or feeling nautious.\u00a0 Another no show performance by Chris Johnson.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philadelphia 17 &#8211; New York Giants 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am not sure this gets the Eagles back into the race but this team certainly likes to keep us guessing.\u00a0 This week it was all about defense for Philly.\u00a0 Vince Young threw three picks in tge game so it is hard to say that he led them to victory in Vick\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New England 34 &#8211; Kansas City 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the first we had a game but after that it was all Patriots as they scored 34 unanswered points.\u00a0 Gronk now only second to Megatron in TD catches.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the CappersPicks.com NFL football weekly predictions pages!
