There are a few quality games in Week 9 with a couple of legitimate shootouts on tap. Below is a breakdown for every Week 9 game and some advice on who on each team could generate some points for your Fantasy squads.<\/p>\n

NY Jets at Buffalo 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n The Jets are coming off their bye and there is hope that an extra week of practice was beneficial. I see Mark Sanchez having a decent game this week \u2013 an OK by week fill-in. That means that Santonio Holmes, Plaxico Burress and Dustin Keller could all be in your lineups. Shonn Green will be typically average. Buffalo\u2019s offense will be all about Fred Jackson again \u2013 he\u2019s unbenchable. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the passing game will struggle as all teams do against the Jets \u2013 bench all if possible! I may take a shot on David Nelson but that\u2019s about it.<\/p>\n Seattle at Dallas 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n I have a feeling about Tavaris Jackson this week. If he didn\u2019t get injured, he could well have had three 300+ yard passing games in a row. Against a vulnerable and banged up Dallas defense, I may take a desperation shot with Jackson. Doug Baldwin, Ben Obomanu and Sidney Rice could be OK flex players this week \u2013 a risk for sure but one that may pay off. Leave the Seattle running game alone! For Dallas start Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray, Dez Bryant, Miles Austin and Jason Witten \u2013 they will all have good weeks in a higher scoring affair.<\/p>\n Atlanta at Indianapolis 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Start all your Falcons against a brutal Indianapolis defense. Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez have to be in lineups. The Falcons defense is a decent bye-week fill-in as well. For the Colts, I trust nobody except for perhaps Reggie Wayne.<\/p>\n Miami at Kansas City 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Miami is a mess \u2013 Brandon Marshall should continue to be OK and Daniel Thomas, if healthy could be a serviceable RB2. For the Chiefs, I actually like Matt Cassel this week along with Dwayne Bowe, Jonathan Baldwin and even Jackie Battle as a flex. It\u2019s surprising but there could be some Fantasy points scored between these teams.<\/p>\n Tampa Bay at New Orleans 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Josh Freeman could be useful this week in a shootout along with Mike Williams, Arrelious Benn and Kellen Winslow. LeGarrette Blount should return this week and is an interesting RB2 based on the number of touches he should receive. For the Saints expect a bounce back game from Drew Brees, Marques Colston and Jimmy Graham. As always the second WR position for the Saints is a total toss-up. Darren Sproles is a great flex particularly in PPR leagues and Pierre Thomas deserves a little consideration as well.<\/p>\n San Francisco at Washington 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n The 49ers are all about the run \u2013 Frank Gore is as automatic as there is in Fantasy right now. The San Francisco passing game hasn\u2019t been Fantasy friendly this season \u2013 avoid all but Michael Crabtree if possible this week. The 49ers defense is a good play here. For Washington, there is not a whole lot to like \u2013 Fred Davis is about the only one that I would consider at this point.<\/p>\n Cleveland at Houston 1:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Nobody on the Browns has been contributing Fantasy-wise this season \u2013 Ben Watson is probably the best bet to have a good game \u2013 avoid everyone else if possible. For Houston, Matt Schaub will continue to be just OK along with his cast of OK receivers. If Andre Johnson returns \u2013 he\u2019s an obvious play along with Arian Foster. [ad-8469823]<\/p>\n Cincinnati at Tennessee 4:05 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Andy Dalton has been a decent Fantasy QB as of late, tossing multiple touchdowns in four of his last five. If desperate, give him a shot. AJ Green is a stud and Jermaine Gresham, if healthy, deserves some Tight End consideration. For the Titans I have given up on Chris Johnson \u2013 Javon Ringer may be the better option and warrants flex consideration. Matt Hasselbeck should be just OK along with his band of receivers. Best to avoid this inconsistent bunch if possible.<\/p>\n Denver at Oakland 4:05 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n It is very difficult to predict and recommend any Denver Bronco after last week\u2019s game. Knowshon Moreno and Eric Decker are OK options this week \u2013 not great. If you are a gambling man and are absolutely desperate Demaryius Thomas could score and act as a decent flex option. If you can, stay away from the Broncos this week. For Oakland, Darren McFadden, if he plays is absolutely automatic \u2013 Michael Bush would be an OK replacement. Like the Broncos, the Oakland passing game is a mystery to me. Darrius Heyward-Bey is likely the best option among the receivers. Everyone else is an extreme risk this week.<\/p>\n NY Giants at New England 4:15 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Eli Manning, Hakeem Nicks (if he plays) and Victor Cruz are all solid options for the Giants this week \u2013 Mario Manningham has slipped to flex option only. Jake Ballard could be a decent TE option this week. Ahmad Bradshaw is banged up and may not play. If healthy, he is a decent RB2 based on the number of touches that he should get. For the Patriots, Brady, Welker, Hernandez and Gronkowski are fine plays this week and Benjarvus Green-Ellis is a decent bet to post good numbers against New York\u2019s questionable run defense.<\/p>\n St. Louis at Arizona 4:15 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Keep an eye on the practice report. If Sam Bradford starts, he could be a good bye-week fill-in. Steven Jackson warrants a start based on last week\u2019s performance while Brandon Lloyd appears to have emerged as the Rams best pass catching option. Start him with little hesitation. For the Cardinals, Beanie Wells should have success against the league\u2019s worst run defense. Larry Fitzgerald is unbenchable at this point. That\u2019s about it for Arizona.<\/p>\n Green Bay at San Diego 4:15 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Never bench Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings or Jermichael Finley! Jordy Nelson is a good flex as is James Jones as well. I am still leery of the Packers running game \u2013 best to find other options. For the Chargers, I like Philip Rivers to bounce back this week \u2013 seriously! I would also start Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson and Malcolm Floyd in the passing game. As far as the running game goes, Ryan Matthews may sit out this week \u2013 Mike Tolbert may be the only healthy back and deserves a start based on the touches that he is in line for.<\/p>\n Baltimore at Pittsburgh 8:20 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Pittsburgh\u2019s defense has been coming on of late but Ray Rice had success in the first meeting and should find some room again this week. Be wary of Joe Flacco but don\u2019t hesitate on Anquan Boldin. Ed Dickson should be an OK TE option this week as well. For the Steelers, start Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown for sure. Emmanuel Sanders will likely be questionable this week \u2013 if he plays he becomes a decent flex option. Heath Miller has been decent lately and could be used if desperate as well. Both defenses will be strong in this game \u2013 don\u2019t hesitate to use either.<\/p>\n Chicago at Philadelphia 8:30 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n Matt Forte is as automatic as they come in Fantasy right now \u2013 start without hesitation. Everyone else on the Bears is a total crapshoot. If I had to rank the pass catchers, it would be Hester, Knox and then Roy Williams. Jay Cutler scares me to death \u2013 better to sit him against the emerging Eagles defense. For Philadelphia, Mike Vick and LeSean McCoy are no-brainers. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are also fine options. Brent Celek has become a reliable Tight End and the Eagles defense is startable once again!<\/p>\n
