New York Giants 20 – Miami Dolphins 17<\/strong><\/p>\n For the second straight week the Dolphins were in control and let that elusive first win of the season slip through their fingers.\u00a0 The completely wasted Reggie Bush\u2019s second 100 yard performance of his career.\u00a0 Eli Manning was very sharp leading the comeback.<\/p>\n Houston 24 – Jacksonville 14<\/strong><\/p>\n This game landed right on the number depending on when you played it.\u00a0 Not much to get excited about although I am wondering if Blaine Gabbert is setting some sort of record with starts with under 100 yards passing.<\/p>\n Baltimore 30 – Arizona 27<\/strong><\/p>\n It took the Ravens a while to get themselves straightened out after losing to Jacksonville last week.\u00a0 Once they did they scored 21 straight points to take the lead.\u00a0 Arizona came back eventually leading to a winning field goal by Billy Cundiff as time expired.<\/p>\n St. Louis 31 – New Orleans 21<\/strong><\/p>\n The biggest shocker of the week as the Rams grab their first win of the season against a highly thought of New Orleans team…with their backup QB no less.\u00a0 The Saints couldn\u2019t protect Drew Brees (6 sacks) and his accuracy was off all game, including two interceptions.<\/p>\n Minnesota 24 – Carolina 21<\/strong><\/p>\n This is a hard loss for Carolina.\u00a0 They took the lead and the Vikings kept countering.\u00a0 Eventually they kicked a field goal late for the victory.\u00a0 Here\u2019s an interesting stat – both rookie quarterbacks, Cam Newton and Christian Ponder, had QB ratings of over 100 for the game.\u00a0 That sounds like a first to me.<\/p>\n Tennessee 27 – Indianapolis 10<\/strong><\/p>\n No surprise on the outcome here.\u00a0 Don\u2019t let the margin fool you into thinking Tennessee is good though.\u00a0 They blocked a punt for a TD and Indy couldn\u2019t get out of their own way with penalties…and Chris Johnson disappointed again with just 34 yards on the ground, second on the team.<\/p>\n Detroit 45 – Denver 10<\/strong><\/p>\n Take that Tebowmania.\u00a0 Great bounce back by Detroit here with Matthew Stafford leading the way.\u00a0 Not a perfect game but pretty close by the Lions.\u00a0 Great confidence booster heading into their bye week after a couple of tough losses. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Buffalo 23 – Washington 0<\/strong><\/p>\n No surprise about the outcome but interesting to see how lopsided a game it was.\u00a0 Ryan Fitzpatrick excels with new contract and Fred Jackson says \u201cshow me the money\u201d\u00a0with 120 yards on the ground.\u00a0 Bills now atop AFC East and in control.<\/p>\n Cincinnati 34 – Seattle 12<\/strong><\/p>\n The Bengals did just fine without Cedric Benson this week winning easily on the road even though the didn\u2019t play great.\u00a0 They would have won anyway but you might be interested to know that their last 14 points were scored on special teams and defense so it wasn\u2019t as lopsided as the score makes it look.<\/p>\n San Francisco 20 – Cleveland 10<\/strong><\/p>\n 49ers didn\u2019t gain any style points with this one but they got the job done.\u00a0 They were up by 10 early and the game was never really in doubt.\u00a0 Running game allowed them to control clock and salt away victory.<\/p>\n Pittsburgh 25 – New England 17<\/strong><\/p>\n Pittsburgh slowed Tom Brady and the Pats the way nobody else have this season.\u00a0 Impressive performance by Ben Roethlisberger makes sure the home fans went home happy.\u00a0 Looking forward to playoff rematch…Please!<\/p>\n Philadelphia 34 – Dallas 7<\/strong><\/p>\n Total domination by Philadelphia.\u00a0 LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick were offensive stars but the defensive effort was superb also.\u00a0 Philadelphia has little margin for error but will have to be reckoned with from here on out.\u00a0 Look out Giants.<\/p>\n Kansas City 23 – San Diego 20<\/strong><\/p>\n Another lost opportunity for the Chargers and another late minute gaffe for Phillip Rivers.\u00a0 It is getting to the point where maybe the Chargers are just a mediocre team and nobody wants to believe it.\u00a0 Give credit to KC thought for making the plays that were there.<\/p>\n Welcome to the CappersPicks.com NFL football weekly predictions pages!
