The Weisguy takes over for Matt and offers up these recaps for your NFL viewing pleasure. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Atlanta 23 &#8211; Detroit 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Lions lose again at home and are staring to make the public question what they were so excited about two weeks ago.\u00a0 Matt Stafford didn\u2019t look right in this one with his worst game of the season.\u00a0 He left the game limping and status for next week is questionable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Denver 18 &#8211; Miami 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oh, no &#8211; Here comes Tebowmania.\u00a0 The QB was uselssfor 80 percent of the game but engineers a couple of late drives to force overtime where the Broncos win it.\u00a0 Is Miami the worst offense in the league?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Houston 41 &#8211; Tennessee 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A complete drubbing here.\u00a0 Arian Foster has monster fantasy day with more than 100 yards on the ground and receiving.\u00a0 Houston once again looks like the top team in the AFC South.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chicago 24 &#8211; Tampa Bay 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Well the Brits weren\u2019t exactly treated to football at its best.\u00a0 The Bears win a sloppy turnover filled game thanks to another top performance from Matt Forte.\u00a0 Josh Freeman is horrible but it makes it tougher when you only run for 30 yards total.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cleveland 6 &#8211; Seattle 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is ugly football and then there was this.\u00a0 Only 435 yards of total offense and not because the defenses were playing out of their mind.\u00a0 How does Seattle already have two wins?<\/p>\n<p><strong>New York 27 &#8211; San Diego 21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great win by the Jets as they come back against San Diego.\u00a0 The Chargers last drive was the worst execution I have seen at the end of the game in a long time.\u00a0 I though Phillip Rivers was supposed to be good &#8211; he looked like a freshman, in high school, out there as the time ticked down.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carolina 33 &#8211; Washington 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cam Newton to Steve Smith&#8230;who would have thought it would be such a dangerous combo.\u00a0 Happy to see the Panthers grab another victory (and cover).\u00a0 Minnesota is next, I smell a winning streak.\u00a0 P.S. I have been saying all season long that Washington isn\u2019t very good. [soliloquy id=&#8221;82219&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pittsburgh 32 &#8211; Arizona 20<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A big game from Big Ben had Pittsburgh in control the whole way.\u00a0 Pittsburgh is looking more and more like a serious contender.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kansas CIty 28 &#8211; Oakland 0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Most shocking result of the weekend.\u00a0 The Chiefs were actually outgained for the game but still pitched a shutout.\u00a0 I need some help from the statheads to let us know if that is a record.\u00a0 Carson Palmer is an ugmo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dallas 34 &#8211; St. Louis 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As expected the Cowboys finally throttled someone.\u00a0 The only surprise was the way they did with DeMarco Murray racking up more than 250 yards on the ground.\u00a0 Taking the ball out of Romo\u2019s hands is not such a bad strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green Bay 33 &#8211; Minnesota 27<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t let the final score fool you, this game was not that close as Minnesota scored the last 10 points for a meaningless backdoor cover.\u00a0 The gap between Green Bay and others at the top may be widening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Orleans 62 &#8211; Indianapolis 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t remember the last time an NFL team scored 60 points can you.\u00a0 Talk about a bounce back for New Orleans after last week\u2019s loss to Tampa.\u00a0 All that stuff about Indy keeping games close was for not.\u00a0 Everyone on that team should be embarrassed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacksonville 12 &#8211; Baltimore 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No that is not a misprint above.\u00a0 If you were watching the World Series Monday night you were spared the nausea induced by one of the most boring games of the season.\u00a0 What happened to the Ravens?<\/p>\n<p>Welcome to the CappersPicks.com NFL football weekly predictions pages!
