The Green Bay Packers are now the league\u2019s only perfect team and the way they have been playing they might stay that way for a while. \u00a0Most of their wins have been blowouts with the team that got the closest being the Panthers in week 2, they lost by just 7. <\/p>\n
Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings Green Bay<\/strong><\/p>\n That game is also the only one that the Packers haven\u2019t covered the number this season. \u00a0They have not only been very impressive but they have been helping to make money.<\/p>\n Where do you start with the accolades? \u00a0Green Bay is the top scoring team in the league averaging almost 33 points per game. \u00a0The only chink in their armour is that they are not a great running team but since no one has shutdown the Aaron Rogers show this year that hasn\u2019t really been a concern. \u00a0On defense they have given up some yards but few points. \u00a0This is a hard one to measure as most of their games are blowouts and they have been playing a lot of prevent D.<\/p>\n Green Bay took both games from Minnesota last year and is certainly on a roll right now. \u00a0Adding to that is the Vikings decision to start a rookie quarterback and the only thing that might bring them down is over confidence. \u00a0I was surprised that this line wasn\u2019t higher as the Pack has already had two 10+ point spreads this season, that included their one ATS loss on the road against another rookie QB Cam Newton. [soliloquy id=”82219″] <\/p>\n Minnesota<\/strong><\/p>\n Minnesota was awful last week against the Bears, in every phase of the game. \u00a0After six games they are already 5 games out of first place so they have officially thrown in the towel by benching veteran QB Donovan McNabb in favour of rookie Christian Ponder. \u00a0Many ripped his selection when it was made in April but this is the only move they had to make to give the team a chance to win some games and be respectable down the stretch.<\/p>\n It is hard to know what you are going to get in a rookie QB\u2019s first game. \u00a0The smart play is to run it as much as possible, especially if you have a horse like Adrian Peterson but the Packers are certainly going to be ready for it. \u00a0Around the league several rookie throwers are doing quite well, if Ponder was really the right choice he might do the same. \u00a0The bigger problem is a I am not a fan of his weapons.<\/p>\n The Viking might not be the worst team in the league but they are pretty lifeless right now. \u00a0The hope is that Ponder gives them a spark but I am not sure he has the personality for that kind of thing. \u00a0This is not a horrible defensive team so they may be able to save face at home. \u00a0Is this one of those crazy ones that makes you say on any given Sunday? \u00a0Doutbful.<\/p>\n ATS Pick: \u00a0Green Bay -9 The CappersPicks.com NFL football weekly predictions pages!
