Preview<\/strong>: Saturday night\u2019s running of the Bank of America 500 will be the fifth of ten Chase races and the only one taking place on a Saturday night. Because of an unusual schedule this weekend, qualifying took place Thursday with Tony Stewart scoring the pole and Matt Kenseth in P2. <\/p>\n Race: Bank of America 500 – Charlotte Motor Speedway There are five Chase drivers and five non-Chasers starting in the top 10. The fastest qualifying Dodge driver was Kurt Busch, who rolls off 20th. Jimmie Johnson is the winningest active driver at Charlotte with six race wins, while Jeff Gordon has won five; Mark Martin, four; Kasey Kahne and Jeff Burton, three; and numerous others with one or two Charlotte race wins each. Polesitter Stewart has one win here in 25 starts \u2013 the October race in 2003.<\/p>\n Jimmie Johnson (7\/2): Coming off an absolutely dominating performance at Kansas last week, it\u2019s hard not to pick Johnson for Charlotte, where he is the leading active driver in terms of wins and has the second-best average finish. He ran third in this race last year. [ad-8757089] <\/p>\n Matt Kenseth (18\/1): Though Matt has had a bit of a hit-or-miss record at Charlotte, he did win the Coca-Cola 600 here in 2000 and finished 2nd in this race in 2009. Kenseth will start on the outside pole Saturday night. <\/p>\n Kasey Kahne (25\/1): As noted, Kahne has won three times at Charlotte (all in a Dodge) and has been strong in practice this weekend, running 2nd and 1st in the two practice sessions and qualifying 8th.
