Green Bay Packers (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Hard to believe now that the Packers were life and death to just make the playoffs last season.<\/p>\n New England Patriots (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 On Monday a Patriots-hater for the Boston Herald wrote that Tom Brady was too old to lead a team to the Super Bowl. A few hours later Brady threw for 517 yards.<\/p>\n Baltimore Ravens (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Playing in Baltimore is not for the faint of heart. Ravens defense has rare combination of speed, toughness and experience.<\/p>\n New York Jets (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Unlike Joan Rivers, Mark Sanchez gets better as the game goes on.<\/p>\n San Diego Chargers (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Chargers held Donovan McNabb to 28 passing yards in the opener. Brady may have more than that on his first pass this Sunday.<\/p>\n Philadelphia Eagles (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Best sign from Week 1? That offensive line may not be as wobbly as everyone thought it might be.<\/p>\n Houston Texans (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 OK, you\u2019ve drawn to a straight flush. Don\u2019t screw it up.<\/p>\n New Orleans Saints (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Don\u2019t blame Mark Ingram and don\u2019t blame the coach. The right side of the O-line got zero got schooled on that last play.<\/p>\n Chicago Bears (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 So Bears safety Brandon Meriweather is with the Pats a few years back when they go to London to play the Buccaneers. When they get back Meriweather is asked about the trip, sightseeing etc. His comments fueled the following youtube video<\/a> put together by a local radio program: <\/p>\n Detroit Lions (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Putting the cart firmly in front of the horse, with KC, Minnesota and Dallas next, it\u2019s not hard to envision the Lions at 4-0 heading into an interesting home game against the Bears on Columbus Weekend.<\/p>\n Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Mike Tomlin is not prone to panic, and the next two games \u2013 home vs. Seattle and at Indianapolis \u2013 are a nice firewall against a disastrous start.<\/p>\n Buffalo Bills (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Ralph, wake up! We won!<\/p>\n Dallas Cowboys (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 You think Jerry Jones is grinding his teeth at night?<\/p>\n Atlanta Falcons (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Worst loss of the Matt Ryan Era, and now the Eagles come to town. Uh oh.<\/p>\n Indianapolis Colts (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Say goodnight, Gracie. Hard to believe that the Colts front office didn\u2019t have a Plan B.<\/p>\n New York Giants (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Just a hunch, but I\u2019m thinking that Eli and Plaxico will have issues this year.<\/p>\n Arizona Cardinals (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Cardinals had fewer first downs, fewer total yards, fewer completed passes and less time of possession than the Panthers. Not good signs. [soliloquy id=”82219″]<\/p>\n Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 LeGarrette Blout is already in me-mode, complaining about too-few touches in the opener against Detroit. But the Bucs actually moved the ball better when they used a spread offense.<\/p>\n Washington Redskins (1-0) \u2013 Redskins looked like an NFL team for the first time in a while, but it won\u2019t be long before Grossman starts channeling his inner Tony Romo.<\/strong><\/p>\n Miami Dolphins (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Dolphin offense controlled the ball for seven-plus minutes in the opening drive against New England. The other 53 weren\u2019t much to write home about.<\/p>\n Minnesota Vikings (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Had they not gone the Favre route, whatever young QB they went with would be in his third year by now.<\/p>\n Seattle Seahawks (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 No, those weren\u2019t Discovery Bay seals making noises last Sunday. It was Seahawk fans groaning with every Tavaris Jackson turnover.<\/p>\n Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Flawed as this team is, it may have a puncher\u2019s chance in the AFC South \u2013 assuming the Texans play like the Texans always do in big games.<\/p>\n Cincinnati Bengals (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Marvin Lewis is now admitting that he let things get out of control in previous years.<\/p>\n Tennessee Titans (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Troubled Kenny Britt scored two TDs in the loss to the Jaguars. Maybe he\u2019d have less trouble off the field if the season was 12 months long? Nah.<\/p>\n Kansas City Chiefs (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Last year\u2019s record and this year\u2019s could produce a palindrome \u2013 10-6, 6-10.<\/p>\n Oakland Raiders (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Fans fight. Players fight. Do they have a fight song?<\/p>\n San Francisco 49ers (1-0)<\/strong> \u2013 Before everyone in the Bay Area gets back on the Alex Smith bandwagon, remember that this is his 7th season. If he\u2019s the real deal, or anything close, don\u2019t you think you would have seen something by now?<\/p>\n Carolina Panthers (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Nice start for Newton, but next up is Green Bay and the Packers have had extra prep time.<\/p>\n St. Louis Rams (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Rams are already banged up, and they just don\u2019t have enough depth to handle it.<\/p>\n Cleveland Browns (0-1)<\/strong> \u2013 Punter Richmond McGee had boots of 20, 28 and 30 yards on Sunday. Good thing he\u2019s Mike Holgren\u2019s nephew. He\u2019s not? Coach wants to see you, kid.
