You bet! There were some key injuries in Week 1 and there is some potential Fantasy Gold waiting in the wings.<\/p>\n Choose right and you could get an early edge in your Fantasy leagues, choose wrong and you will be dropping your new acquisition in a couple of weeks!<\/p>\n Enjoy Dave B\u2019s Week 2 Waiver Wire \u2013 I hope it helps!<\/p>\n Cam Newton \u2013 Carolina Panthers<\/strong> – 418 passing yards and three total touchdowns in a loss to the Cardinals has woken a few people up. We will definitely see what he\u2019s made of this week against the Packers. Still with a reenergised Steve Smith, he may be worth adding based on the potential alone.<\/p>\n Ryan Fitzpatrick \u2013 Buffalo Bills \u2013 <\/strong>Fitzpatrick passed for four touchdowns on Sunday on just 208 yards. With a decent looking running game, the Bills are a little more dangerous than most would think.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>Rex Grossman \u2013 Washington Redskins \u2013<\/strong> Believe it or not, Rex is not a terrible option. Against the Giants he went 21-for-34, 305-yard and two-TDs \u2013 not too bad against an albeit injured New York defense. The Arizona Cardinals are next \u2013 the same team that let Cam Newton throw for 418 yards are up next and then the weak pass defense of Dallas.<\/p>\n Cadillac Williams \u2013 St. Louis Rams \u2013<\/strong> Williams is certain to take over from Steven Jackson who will likely miss next week. Williams rushed for 91 yards and had 49 yards receiving in the last game and looked good doing so. With Danny Amendola out of the lineup, the Rams will lean more heavily on the running game. He\u2019s a great pick up for one week at least.<\/p>\n Brandon Tate \u2013 Houston Texans \u2013<\/strong> His future Fantasy numbers depend completely on the health of Arian Foster. If nothing else, he proved that he is more than capable of taking the reins if Foster is hampered \u2013 24 rushes, 116 yards and 1 touchdown is proof.<\/p>\n Devery Henderson – New Orleans Saints – <\/strong>Marques Colston (clavicle) is out for at least a month. He was targeted nine times in Week 1 and those numbers should increase. \u00a0He caught 6 of those targets for 100 yards and a touchdown. Henderson may be the biggest fish on the wire. [ad-8469823]<\/p>\n Robert Meachem – New Orleans Saints<\/strong> \u2013 Meachem should also benefit from Colston\u2019s injury. Even with Colston in the game last week Meachem caught 5 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. He\u2019s a great add too.<\/p>\n Brandon Gibson \u2013 St. Louis Rams \u2013 <\/strong>Danny Amendola is likely gone for the year \u2013 someone has to step up and suck up some of Amendola\u2019s targets. The best option of the bunch is Brandon Gibson who led the Rams in receiving on Sunday.<\/p>\n Others to Monitor –<\/strong> Scott Chandler, Buffalo Bills, Early Doucet, Arizona Cardinals, <\/strong>Jacoby Jones, Houston Texans<\/p>\n Fred Davis \u2013 Washington Redskins \u2013 <\/strong>Chris Cooley who? Fred Davis clearly looks like the best Tight End passing option on what is actually looking like a decent offense. Davis had six targets, Cooley had three. Davis had 105 yards receiving, Cooley had 21. Davis is intriguing to say the least.<\/p>\n Greg Olsen \u2013 Carolina Panthers \u2013 <\/strong>Olsen had 4 catches for 78 and one of those catches he was stopped on the \u00bd yard line \u2013 a touchdown would have been nice. Newton is going to continue to rely on his Tight Ends and Olsen could benefit.<\/p>\n Detroit Lions<\/strong> \u2013 Ndamakong Suh, all pro defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, linebacker Stephen Tulloch and company looked good against a high powered Tampa team. It was a good test that they passed with flying colours (recording two sacks, a pick and a fumble recovery).
