Nick Watney (1,906 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s been the most consistent golfer not named Luke Donald this season, posting eight top-10s to accompany his two victories. Watney has established himself as a bright young star on Tour; the next step is for him to start winning majors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Steve Stricker (1,865 points) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He may never have the nerves to win the elusive major but few golfers have been as steady and impressive as Stricker over the past three seasons.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Luke Donald (1,856 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s No. 1 player is running out of steam as the season progresses. He may need another win if he wants Player of the Year consideration and a shot at the FedEx Cup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Keegan Bradley (1,621 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>His PGA Championship victory jumped him 20 spots. Few people knew Bradley was in the top 25 <em>before <\/em>capturing a major. He already had a win this season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Phil Mickelson (1,601 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lefty has a legit gripe if people say he\u2019s washed up just like Tiger. Top five in the standings, for cryin\u2019 out loud!<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. K.J. Choi (1,601 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s run hot\/cold but 2011 may end up being his best season to date. He joins Stricker and Lee Westwood in the \u201cbest veteran without a major\u201d discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Bubba Watson (1,577 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some days, you\u2019ll watch Bubba on TV and wonder, \u201cHow is this guy not leading the FedEx Cup standings by a mile?\u201d Other days, you\u2019ll wonder how he\u2019s even in the top 125. He\u2019s as frustrating as he is talented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8. David Toms (1,487 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Toms isn\u2019t over the hill after all. He\u2019s been rewarded for his solid ball-striking this season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Gary Woodland (1,466 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gary Woodland has to be the most obscure name in the top 10. Did most of his damage early in the season, when he posted four top-six finishes during one five-week stretch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10. Mark Wilson (1,461 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Still just riding his two victories form early this season. He\u2019s accomplished virtually nothing since February.<\/p>\n<h3>ON THE BUBBLE NOTABLES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>92. Graeme McDowell (485 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2010 was a banner year for the Irishman but he hasn\u2019t even sniffed that type of success this season. Yeah, he doesn\u2019t play every week in the PGA, but he\u2019s played just one fewer tournament than Luke Donald.  <iframe allowtransparency='true' src='http:\/\/ff.connextra.com\/Bodog\/selector\/client?client=Bodog&#038;placement=Ext_RS_Sports_250x250&#038;cxt_aff_id=151627&#038;tclk=http:\/\/www.bodog.eu\/welcome\/151627\/' class=\"alignleft\" style=\"margin: 5px; border: 5px solid #CCCCCC;\" width='250' height='250' scrolling='no' frameborder='0' style='border-width:0'><\/iframe> <\/p>\n<p><strong>107. Ian Poulter (387 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Poulter was viewed as one of the game\u2019s rising stars a couple years ago but his game has stalled. He\u2019s known more for his attire than anything else these days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>125. Camilo Villegas (320 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At least McDowell and Poulter can use a lack of action as an excuse for their low point totals. But Villegas has played 21 tournaments this season with no wins and one top-10. Ouch. Wasn\u2019t he supposed to be the next big thing?<\/p>\n<h3>ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN NOTABLES<\/h3>\n<p><strong>126. Ernie Els (320 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Big Easy showed last season that he had plenty left in the tank. This year, it seems the opposite is true. Zero top 10s for Ernie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>127. Tiger Woods (318 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tiger has played just eight events this season but that would be enough to keep him in contention most years. His meltdown at the PGA Championship suggests he might be at a career crossroads. Does he need to play more? Take an extended hiatus? Call it quits?<\/p>\n<p><strong>130. Padraig Harrington (316 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paddy has three top-10s this season but he hasn\u2019t been a top player on Tour for several seasons now.
