Sportsbook Review: Legends.com Sports Book<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sure, spelling \u201cLegends\u201d with a \u201cZ\u201d is a little trashy, but does the Legendz sportsbook make up for it by being otherwise awesome? <\/p>\n

Let\u2019s find out.<\/p>\n

Offerings<\/h4>\n

On paper, Legendz\u2019s sports betting options are decent enough. It doesn\u2019t offer many crazy exotics but keeps you covered for football, basketball, hockey and so on.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, it seems like many lines are missing. Futures don\u2019t seem to be apparent anywhere. Neither do UFC lines \u2013 a big no-no considering the sport\u2019s growing popularity. The sports betting options are a bit disappointing. \"Legends<\/a><\/p>\n

The casino section is under construction, so it\u2019s hard to grade. I can at least say that the advertised features and games look like they cover almost everything you\u2019d find in Vegas, allow you to play for money or for fun, and generally appear glossy and attractive.<\/p>\n

Legendz redeems itself with a few extra frills. Its racebook is arguably the best-organized, most complete option on its site, with dozens of tracks covered, a section detailing the most popular horse bets, and special racebook-specific promos.<\/p>\n

Other pluses: a detailed, very up-to-date blog detailing current sporting events and mobile betting offerings.<\/p>\n

Legendz\u2019s goes about making its offerings appealing in a roundabout way. It falls short in the obvious categories like sports lines but its racebook and other features are nice and the casino has potential.<\/p>\n

Grade: B-<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ease of Use<\/h4>\n

There\u2019s a running theme with Legendz. It almost feels like this site is geared toward the non-sporty gambler, as its racebook is well laid out and easy to navigate and its casino certainly looks like it will be crisp and easy to use. <\/p>\n

I can\u2019t say the same for the spots lines. They\u2019re jumbled together in one, long, small, scrollable window. The odds are hard to find and poorly divided; you can\u2019t tell who\u2019s playing whom. <\/p>\n

The money lines don\u2019t have \u201c+\u201d and \u201c-\u201c symbols attached; that could really confuse novice bettors.<\/p>\n

Again, Legendz gets it done for the non-sports offerings but the sportsbook is quite difficult to use.<\/p>\n

Grade: C+<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intangibles\/promos<\/h4>\n

Legendz is known for being amazingly quick with its payouts \u2013 even recognized as the industry leader. \"Legends<\/a> Withdrawals via Moneybookers and Neteller are guaranteed to be ready the same day. Even cashier\u2019s checks take only three to six business days to arrive. <\/p>\n

The payout speed is downright awesome, even if the payout methods are limited.<\/p>\n

Legendz is kind enough to offer bonuses, though they aren\u2019t particularly big. Other books do better than Legendz\u2019s 25 per cent signup bonus or 25 per cent redeposit bonus. <\/p>\n

It offers some cool rebates, like five per cent on casino losses and five per cent on racebook bets if you enter a given code. It also offers reduced juice on Fridays.<\/p>\n

Legendz gets major points for being the sportsbook king of fast payouts. <\/p>\n

It also deserves credit for its variety of bonuses, though I\u2019d like to see bigger ones.<\/p>\n

Overall<\/h4>\n

Legendz can be a useful book if you use it in the right way. It\u2019s great for a diehard gambler who wants to get paid very quickly. It\u2019s generally handy for people who enjoy horses, casino games, or other Vegas-like experiences.<\/p>\n

However, I don\u2019t recommend it for sports bettors. The odds are limited and tough to navigate. If you play Legendz for its strengths, you\u2019ll be happy.<\/p>\n
