Boston is the only team scoring more runs per game than New York this season, largely because of David Ortiz\u2019s resurgence and because Adrian Gonzalez has so perfectly met the lofty expectations placed open him for 2011. As well as Garcia has pitched this season, the Red Sox are just about the only team to beat him up. They\u2019ve tagged him for 10 runs, nine earned, and three homers over three appearances (eight innings). <\/p>\n On the flip side, though Beckett has taken his lumps against the Yankees in the past, he\u2019s demolished them this season, going 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 21 innings.<\/p>\n Considering that Beckett has also lost just once at home this season, all signs point to a Boston victory. A note to Terry Francona: start newly acquired Mike Aviles on Sunday night. <\/p>\n He\u2019s a .636 career hitter against Garcia.<\/p>\n
