Celtics exercise option on Green<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not surprisingly, the Boston Celtics are exercising forward Jeff Green\u2019s contract option. The city was already up in arms when the team acquired Green from Oklahoma City for Kendrick Perkins, so the Celtics couldn\u2019t risk the PR nightmare of not retaining Green. <\/p>\n

He averaged 15.1 points over three seasons with the Thunder.<\/p>\n

Biyombo in contract dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n
