Most of us knew it was only a matter of time before the Cleveland Indians turned into a pumpkin. <\/p>\n

He\u2019s also a road warrior, going 4-0 with a 2.88 ERA in seven tries away from Progressive Field.<\/p>\n San Francisco Giants (40-34)<\/strong> Whenever the defending champion San Francisco Giants struggle, we know precisely why. They\u2019re a top-five team in every major pitching category but they have the second-worst offense in the league. During their recent five-game losing streak, the Giants scored two runs or fewer every game. [dfads params=’groups=10&limit=1&return_javascript=0′]<\/p>\n Injuries are obviously to blame, as the Giants are without Buster Posey, Freddy Sanchez, Brandon Belt, Mike Fontenot and Mark DeRosa. But someone has to step up in their absence. Aubrey Huff is batting just .245. Pablo Sandoval is hitting .206 with no homers and one RBI in eight games since returning from his own DL stint.<\/p>\n Jonathan Sanchez will keep on keepin\u2019 on. He rarely lasts past the sixth inning, throws a ton of pitches, walks a ton, strikes out a ton, and usually gives his team a decent chance to win.<\/p>\n
