Their pitching has helped them win three of four, allowing one run in those three victories combined, but the Dodgers won\u2019t contend again in the National League West until they rustle up some real offense.<\/p>\n Matt Kemp continues to have by far the best season of his career, batting .328 and on pace to literally flirt with becoming the game\u2019s first-ever 50\/50 player, but he has no help aside from Andre Ethier. The Dodgers\u2019 third best hitter is Aaron Miles. Ouch. Of the top seven batting averages on the team, three of them belong to pitchers. <\/em>Embarrassing stuff. He\u2019s only started three times and hasn\u2019t gone more than five innings.
