Not that it\u2019s a big surprise, but it\u2019s almost official now that the Cleveland Cavaliers will take Duke point guard Kyrie Irving at first overall in this week\u2019s NBA draft. <\/p>\n

That means they\u2019ll let Arizona forward Derrick Williams fall to Minnesota at No. 2.<\/p>\n

Suns to buy out Vince Carter<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vince Carter\u2019s star sure has fallen a long way. The former Rookie of the Year has averaged 22.2 points with Toronto, New Jersey, Orlando and Phoenix since starting his career in 1999. But he\u2019s fallen out of favor to the point that he\u2019s expendable in the desert. <\/p>\n

The Suns plan to decline the $18-million option on Vince\u2019s contract and buy him out for $4 million. <\/p>\n
