MLB news: Possible division realignment? <\/strong><\/p>\n In one of the more exciting rumors coming out of Major League Baseball in a while, the league and players\u2019 association are reportedly considering a fairly significant realignment. <\/p>\n The move would keep the American and National Leagues intact but would eliminate divisions altogether. <\/p>\n One team would cross over from the NL to the AL so that each league would have 15 teams with five playoffs spots available per league.<\/p>\n The team being considered for a league switch is reportedly the Houston Astros, who could join the AL to create a rivalry with the Texas Rangers.<\/p>\n Napoli, Colon hit DL<\/strong><\/p>\n Speaking of the Rangers, they\u2019ve lost their slugging catcher, Mike Napoli, to a strained oblique. They placed him on the 15-day disabled list Sunday after he suffered the injury Saturday. <\/p>\n Napoli could miss a month or more.<\/p>\n Morneau to have wrist examined<\/strong><\/p>\n Barton Colon\u2019s magic stem-cell surgery was great for his shoulder \u2013 but it couldn\u2019t save his hamstring from injury. He strained it on Saturday against Cleveland and wound up on the 15-day DL.
