Week 1: Thursday, June 30-Sunday, July 3<\/strong><\/p>\n What better way to celebrate the first week of the season\u2014not to mention Canada Day Weekend\u2014with four football games? Montreal and B.C. kick things off Thursday, followed by Winnipeg-Hamilton and Toronto-Calgary on Friday evening, and Edmonton vs. Saskatchewan on Sunday night.<\/p>\n Week 2: Saturday, July 9 \u2013 Montreal at Saskatchewan<\/strong><\/p>\n Just two weeks into the season, we get a rematch between last year\u2019s Grey Cup finalists. The Alouettes earned a 21-18 victory in Edmonton last November and both squads will be expected to compete for another championship.<\/p>\n Consider this an early tone-setter for things to come.<\/p>\n Week 5: Friday, July 29 \u2013 Montreal at Hamilton<\/strong><\/p>\n The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have gone 9-9 in each of the past two seasons, both times losing at home in the playoffs. Some believe they\u2019re ready to make a leap to the next level, but they\u2019ll have to get past the East champions first.<\/p>\n Former Montreal running back Avon Cobourne could be the difference-maker.<\/p>\n Week 5: Friday, July 29 \u2013 Toronto at Edmonton<\/strong><\/p>\n Whether or not this game belongs on this list depends on a bit \u201cif\u201d\u2014if Kerry Joseph is starting and playing well at this point. Joseph, a former star with the Argos and Rough Riders, is hoping to overtake Ricky Ray for the starting gig in Edmonton.<\/p>\n If he wins the job, in the next month or so, he\u2019ll get a chance to put on a clinic against his old team.<\/p>\n Week 6: Friday, Aug. 5 \u2013 Saskatchewan at B.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n This marks the first meeting between the Riders and Lions since last year\u2019s playoff battle. The Lions put up a hell of a fight but eventually lost 41-38 in double-overtime.<\/p>\n A win over the Riders in Week 6 could mean B.C. is serious about contending for the West Division championship.<\/p>\n Week 7: Thursday, Aug. 11 \u2013 Edmonton at Montreal<\/strong><\/p>\n A rematch of the 2003 and 2005 Grey Cups. While plenty of faces have changed\u2014and Edmonton has bottomed out since then\u2014Montreal remains the class of the CFL. [ad-4437448] <\/p>\n If the Eskimos are going to turn things around, there\u2019s no better place to start than with a win over the defending Grey Cup champs.<\/p>\n Week 10: Monday, Sept. 5 \u2013 Edmonton at Calgary<\/strong><\/p>\n With a scheduling conflict derailing the annual Toronto-Hamilton matchup, fans will have to settle for just one Labour Day Classic game this weekend.<\/p>\n The Eskimos will be desperate for revenge, as Calgary is 4-1 in the past four Labour Day meetings between these clubs\u2014including winning the past two by a combined score of 84-3.<\/p>\n Week 15: Monday, Oct. 10 \u2013 Toronto at Montreal<\/strong><\/p>\n This will mark the third and final meeting between the Argonauts and Alouettes during the regular season. The road to the Grey Cup often goes through Montreal, so this will be a huge game for the up-and-coming Argos.<\/p>\n Week 17: Friday, Oct. 21 – Saskatchewan at Calgary<\/strong><\/p>\n The Rough Riders and Stampeders are expected to duke it out for the West title, and this will be their last chance to face each other during the regular season.
